Chapter 44

*Alice*

I roll over and see Harry lying next to me. We have school today, and the thought depresses me. I honestly don't wanna go back there.

Harry slowly opens his eyes, and smiles when he sees me. I smile back, blushing slightly.

"Morning." I say, hopeful that he'll say Morning back so I can here his sexy morning voice again. He smirks. Oh great. He just read my mind, didn't he?

"Good morning, babe." He says with a wink. I blush again. He reaches out and pulls me into a hug. I snuggle into him. I sigh.

"I don't want to go today." I mumble. He sighs now. .

"I know. But you have to. I'll introduce you to some of my friends today." I gulp.

"Um...ok." I say nervously. He lightly pecks my lips.

"Don't be nervous." He soothes. I hide my face in his chest.

"I know." I whisper.

"Come on, let's get up." I sigh, but sit up with him. The covers fall off of us and I blush, remembering that Harry is naked. He smirks and hops out of bed, putting on his boxers and heading out.

"Meet you in the kitchen." I nod my head and go into the bathroom.

I take a quick shower, towel dry my hair. I put on light pink overall shorts, a white crop top underneath, and white Keds. I put my hair into a bun, and then put on some perfume. I put on mascara, eyeliner, and lipstick.

I head down the stairs. Everyone is sitting down etin waffles and sausage. I join them, and we all eat in silence again.

When we're done, we head out to the school. Harry walks me to my locker, and then goes to his. Raven saunters up and unlocks her locker. Without even looking at me, she says,

"Hey human." I frown. Why does she keep calling me that? It's getting old now! My name is Alice!

"Hi." I say, grabbing my things for first class.

"You know, you're awfully shy." She says, still not looking at me. My frown deepens.

"No I'm not!" I huff. She rolls her eyes.

"Then how come you never talk?"

"I am now."

"Because I'm talking to you. The only person I see you talking to is Styles." She says, jerking a thumb over at Harry, who's at his locker.

"So? He's my boyfriend. Of course I'll be talking to him a lot." Raven rolls her eyes again.

"Yeah whatever." I growl quietly in frustration. She slams her locker shut, and then turns around and Ivy is there.

"Hey Ali." She says smugly. I roll my eyes. I am so done with these people. I stomp off to Harry. He frowns when he sees me all worked up.

"What's wrong babe?" He wraps his arms around me and pulls me into a hug. I wrap my arms around him.

"This is place is what's wrong!" I snap. Raven and Ivy walk by and snicker when they see us. I stomp my foot. "I need to get out of here! Now!" Harry sighs.

"Alice, I understand some people here may not be the nicest, but you don't have to pay any attention to them. Ok?" I sigh.

"Yeah, whatever. I still hate it here." I grumble.

"I know. But who knows. Maybe that'll change when you spend more days here." He smiles a half smile. I shake my head.

"I doubt it." I huff. He rolls his eyes but smiles.

"Ok, whatever you say. Let's go to class, yeah?"

"I guess." I mutter. He sighs.

"Come on babe. Lighten up!"

"Wish I could." I say bitterly. He takes my hand and intertwines our fingers. I sigh.

"Please try?" He gives me the puppy dog face. I smile a half smile.

"Maybe." He smiles back and kisses my forehead.

"Let's go then." And we start off to our first class.
