The wind blew rapidly outside. Under where we are, possibly is even colder then outside right now. We all have blankets and pillows, and Louis started a fire a little while ago.

"I can't see when they're coming." Anne admits.

"How come I can, but you all can't?" Louis asks. Gemma shrugs.

"I guess it's different for everyone." She says.

I huddle next to Harry, who holds me close to him. We're sitting, cuddling in the corner of this layer.

"I think I should get you by the fire." Harry says, and picks me up. "Your lips are blue."

He walks over and sets me down by the fire. He wraps his arms around my waist from behind, and pulls me against him, so my back is against his chest. He pokes his head around and kisses my cheek, causing me to blush.

"Are you ok?" He asks. I shrug, staring at the fire. He sighs.

"I'm fine." I mumble, so he doesn't get mad.

"No, you need protein. I'll go make you a protein shake." He gets up and walks over to the cabinet. He grabs the powder and sets it down on a small crooked table. He starts to make the shake, and my eyes wonder back to the fire.

"It sounds pretty bad out there." Anne says, concern written all over her face. Louis paces back and forth, as the wind shakes the whole place.

"We're underground, how is the wind affecting where we are?" I speak up softly, and shyly. My cheeks redden and I immediately look down.

I feel a cold hand on my back, and look up to see Louis. He smiles down at me, and kneels down beside me.

"Well, with our planet, the wind reaches beneath the Earth. It's not totally safe, but it's better than being above ground, that's for sure." He says. Harry comes over and hands me something that's not my shake.

"What is this?" I ask curiously.

"Warm coffee, with sugar and cream. I thought you deserved something better tasting after all this." I half smile.

"Thanks."

"No problem." He wraps his arms around me, and kisses my forehead softly.

Outside, rain starts to pour down, and the wind gets worse. Thunder booms, and I whimper. I HATE thunderstorms.

"Are you ok, babe?" Harry asks me. He presses my body against his. I shake my head. "What's wrong?"

"I-I...um...I don't really...l-like...th-thunderstorms..." My face grows hot with embarrassment.

"Oh, love, you don't have to be embarrassed. It's alright. The storm is outside, ok? And I'm right here to protect you." He scoops me up, and brings me over to the corner. What is he planning on doing?

He presses me up against the wall. He leans in and kisses my neck softly with his cold lips. I shiver underneath him.
"Calm down." He whispers. He places his cold hand on my chest, right above my heart. It beats a mile a minute.

He leans in towards my face, until I can feel his cool breath on my face. He grabs my hand and presses it against his chest, where his heart should've been if he was alive.

But it's there.

It beats normally, like he's alive. But he's not, so how is this possible?

"Do you feel it?" He whispers. I nod my head. "You make my heart beat again." He says, kissing my cheek. I feel myself blush.

"Alice, you are my life. I love you so much." He says, looking down. When he looks back up, his eyes are a vibrant red.

"Did I tell you that our eyes change depending on our mood?"

"No." I say.

"Well...they do. And my eyes are red for a reason." He pauses. "Alice, I'm in love. With you."
