"You must be Alli, I've heard so much about you!" Mrs Ramsay says pulling me into a hug.
"And your Corlynn I'm guessing" I ask her.
"Of course I am!" She replys.
"Miles darling, come here and meet Josh's beautiful girlfriend" Corlynn shouts.
Miles walks over to us.
"I'm Miles, Josh's dad. Josh is right. You are even prettier in person!" Miles says.
I blush. Josh makes his way over to us. He wraps his arm around my waist.
"Mom dad I see you've met my girlfriend Alli" Josh says pulling me closer.
"We have! She seems like a nice girl" Miles says.
"You 2 have fun. I have to make sure there is enough food. " Corlynn says walking away. Miles follows behind her.
A few people come over to talk to Josh. I stand by his side with his arm wrapped around my waist.
A slow song comes on the stereo.
"Lets dance" Josh says pulling me towards the dance floor.
I wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist.
As the song is almost over Josh closes the final space left between us.
"I love you" he says before kissing me.
" Love you too" I say as Josh checks his phone.
"Babe I gotta go. I hafta make sure everything is all set for tour tomorrow. Your still coming with us right?" Josh asks.
"Of course! Wanna run home and grab our stuff? You can just drop me off at the tour bus while your at the studio" I say.
Josh says goodbye to Miles and Corlynn. We walk hand in hand out the door to his car.
After we get our bags Josh drives to where the tour bus is.
"I'll come here when I'm done on the studio" Josh says hugging me.
"Alright" I reply after kissing him.
I put mine and Josh's stuff on the tour bus and go inside. I take out my phone.
'Matty..-Alli'
'Whats up Al?-Matt'
'Im bored and on the tour bus. Josh is at the studio getting things finalized and Mike and Ian are playing video games. Come watch a movie with me? -Alli'
'Sure Whynot. Be there Ina few. You can pick the movie-Matt'
I put my phone down and go to where the DVDs are kept. I pull out I Am Legend and put it in the DVD player. I skip thru all the previews and leave it on the main menu.
"Hey!" Matt says as he comes thru the door.
"Entertaining services has arrived" he says as he sits down.
I press play on the movie.
Everytime the weird zombie creature things pop out we jump and sometimes even scream.
*cut to scene where they zombie things go crazy with their dog things*
I screamed. Matt jumped pretty high.
Mike and Ian pop up from the other room.
Matt and I both screamed
I jumped and ran over and sat in the seat next to Matt.
Ian and Mile start laughing.
"Fuck off" I tell them.
"Yeah guys. C'mon that wasn't funny" Matt adds
Mike and Ian continue laughing.
I take out my phone and text Josh.
'Can you beat up Mike and Ian for me? -Alliwhowantstokillthemrightnow'
'What'd they do? Haha- Josh'
'Matt and I are watching a movie and they just scared the shot out of us-Alli'
'Not a problem! Remind me later :) -Josh'
Ian and Mike stop laughing and leave the room. Matt and I continue watching the movie.
*cut to scene a few minutes before the dog dies*
"Hahahahaha skanked!" Matt yells.
-weird zombie things and dogs come out-
That scared me. I grab onto Matt's arm.
-zombie dog things take Will Smiths dog-
"Don't just stand there! Go save your dog!!" I yell at the TV.
I look over at Matt who has tears in his eyes. My eyes start to water.
"P-pause the movie so we can stop crying" I sob out.
Matt pauses the movie.
"The dog can't die. It was his best friend" Matt says holding in tears.
Matt and I are both full on crying at this point.
Luckily Mike and Ian can't hear us crying over their video games.
Josh walks in the door.
"I'm back!" He says.
He notices Matt and I crying. He comes over and puts his arms around me and pulls me close.
"Shhh it's alright. I'm here. I've got you." Josh says softly.
"Shhh baby what's wrong?" He asks.
"Th-the movie. T-th-the d-d-dog is dying" I say thru tears.
Matt puts the movie back on. Josh pulls me closer and puts his arm tighter around me.
I can feel my shoulder getting wet. I look behind me and notice Josh is crying too.
"Maybe we should turn this movie off now" Matt says.
"It made 3 adults cry over a dog dying" Matt adds.
He shuts the movie off and leave the room to text Nicole.
"I've never seen you cry like this before Josh" I say to him.
"Don't get used to it" he says wiping his tears.
