Don't forget about me

I sipped at my chai latte hungrily. The whole gang was packed into a small British car that rolled along the unpaved gravel leading away from the hospital. Kellin touched his heart

"I'm going to miss this place." he rolled down the window and stuck his head out facing the pedestrians and yelled, "LONDON DON'T YOU EVER FORGET ABOUT ME!" Many tourists threw us blank stares and others whooped and whipped their heads back with laughter. I was released earlier that day! I was relieved to know that my passing out and minor coma was only due to a little de-hydration and those damn Memphis genetics.

"How could they forget this little girl who sings scream," mocked Skylar playfully ruffling Kellin's hair. He narrowed his eyes and punched her shoulder. I could see Josh smile a little, even from behind his vintage inspired Ray Bands. Ariana had her headphones in and was doodling into a page of her journal. I felt sad to leave, but I was relieved to be returning to Cali. I reached into my messenger back to grab a stick of gum when I touched my phone buried beneath the clutter of my bag. I pulled it out to be greeted by numerous texts, a few twitter updates, and my personal favorite, missed calls from back home in Seattle. When we reached the airport I called back the house to check in with my family, and make sure they had no idea that I wasn't in California for the past few days.

A few rings. Then a familiar voice.

"Hi," the voice that greeted me was so scratchy and muffled, I barley even recognized it.

"Lily? What's going on!?" I bit my nails. The anticipation weighed my shoulders into a sad slump.

"I'm not sure, mom and dad are crying I don't know why. It's scaring me Kay, something's really wrong."

"Lil, slow down,"

"Mom hasn't come out of her room in days. Dad says she's just sick, he's wrong, I know it."

"Have you gone in there?"

Silence.

"What are you waiting for Lily go see her?!" The phone buzzed in my ear signifying she hung up.

"Lilly?

More silence, the loudest kind of all.
