Quick update: I wanted to apologize further for the delay. Very personal issues. Just to be brief I am dealing with bullying still although school is out. Also sorry if this chapters a bummer, I'm not in a very good mood. I'm very sorry. However, I'm very excited to be back.

I fanned my steaming body with a cheap hand fan which only exhausted my restless body more. It was noon and I barley had stopped sweating since I took a seat behind the merch counter. My smile started fading as the day dragged on. Don't get me wrong I loved supporting Kellin, but I just had a massive hangover and I'm actually really exhausted. On a brighter note, I had a full tip jar, maybe even enough to get a new deck for my board. I must say I was surprised by the tips considering just about every girl who walked by muttered a slander comment towards me dating "their husband." Life can be just so damn frustrating.

A girl in particular that I remember vividly from just hours ago was a tall lanky girl with wiry features shot me troubled looks from behind the curtain of the brown hair surrounding her hollow face. She was haunting and mysterious and looked lost even in the sea of people. She bought a shirt and left me a two dollar bill in the tip jar and walked off. As she fled the counter I noticed a yellow bruise swelling on her shoulder. She probably took a tumble while crowd surfing, poor girl.

It was a long day blurred with teen girls demanding shrits in extra extra smalls and the occastional interesting costumer that would stand out, like the girl from before. Some would smile poliety and others would strike conversation about things that got you thinking. I remembered one saying something about the moon phases and proposing an idea about a Kellin teaming up with a non-profit organization. Random yes, but very intriguing.

That night I tried calling home to check in, no answer. I cuddled close to Kellin since he was already asleep considering he had shows all day. For the first time in week I cried a little. I missed home, I felt weird being loved like this, I almost felt undeserving of this happiness. I held Kell tighter felling his soft V-neck against my cheek. After almost a whole hour of laying in the dark unable to sleep, I got up and slipped out the door unable to stay in the house while my thoughts ate away at me.

I took a bus downtown and walked the streets. I pulled my sweatshirt around my waist and tied my hair up loosely. I stalked the still jammed streets and stepped into a record shop. My eyes were veiny and I looked like an absolute mess but nonetheless as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a scruffy guy dressed in distressed skinnies, chunky wired glasses, and a Neff beanie. I rubbed my sleepy eyes and realized behind the counter working this small musty record shop was no other than Josh.

"Josh?!" I asked.

He took off his glasses, and nodded looking just as embarrassed to see me as I was to see him, especially looking like road-kill.

"Why didn't you tell me about this place, dude?" I continued looking for a positive attribute to use about the shop, " It's uh cozy."

"We both know you're just saying that..." His voice quivered. I heard the hurt in his voice, and immediately rushed to his side.

"I'm sorry..." I started. He waved off my apology and returned to rack some dusty records on even dustier milk crates.

"I never knew you had a thing for records."

"Well Kay, there's quite a lot you really don't know about me. Scurry back to Kellin why don't you?"

"What are you saying Josh?" My cheeks burned red as I turned my back to him. I back over to his desk to further explore. The usual nuts, screws, bolts, pens, paper clips, small scraps of paper, and wads of gum scattered on the desk.

At least I thought it was a desk. I couldn't really see it under all the clutter thought.

"You probably think I should be on hoarders right?" Josh joked. I was surprised by the sudden change of heart but I went with it.

"Yeah, what is all this stuff?" I said starting to overturn papers, bend paper clips, and  cringe at the sight of all the waded up gum.

"Who knows."

I overturned a small square paper that caught my eye. It was a picture of a brown haired girl similar to myself when I was younger, I squinted and analyzed a little more, then It came.
