Chapter thirty one

(Your name)’s POV:

Aston had got you both running around the left of the entire maze, but the exit never seemed to exist “Ast, what happens if he gets us?” You asked, but sacredly as he was looking at a couple of tracks “he won’t baby... He won’t,” he said, but not very comfortingly, as he was desperately looking for the exit “I don’t like this maze, I don’t wanna come back in to this maze,” you whispered frightened on what might come shooting out at anytime or anywhere! “We won’t come back in to this maze, never ever,” Aston said breathlessly “Ast, why don’t we just cheat and slip through the bushes?” You asked, as he looked at you “we could, but you gotta think that we’re not the only ones in this maze, you have that hooded person here too!” He said discomfortingly as he looked longley and desperately in to your eyes, but then you felt a gust of wind hit the back of your head, making you turn your head “I can feel him...” You said quietly “he is running, QUICK,” you shouted out as you and Aston started to run straight forward, but with a few turns here and there you finally found the exit, but the hooded figure got there just before you!

“Stay there,” you heard Aston say quietly to you, as he let go of your hand and walked up to the hooded figure, but got right in his face “you could you mind moving out the way?” He asked strongly making you smile. This hooded person never answered back “okay, if you don’t wanna reply,” Aston said plainly, before punching him square in the face making you gasp. You’d never thought you’d live to see the day Aston punches someone! The hooded figure retaliated though, and went to punch Aston, but Aston ducked and floored the hooded figure on the floor “alright, we gonna see who you are?” Aston asked, but the hooded figure tried to get Aston off them “yeah? Of course we are,” Aston mocked, before removing the mask to reveal Miles, which made you gasp loudly, making Aston snap his head up to look at you “who is he?” He asked “That’s Miles,” you said quietly, before running past both men, and running over to the entrance of the hotel. As you had got in to the reception you felt someone running after you, but while you were running you glanced up at a clock to read [1:30am]. You had been in that maze for almost four hours! Although you constantly kept running, and up the stairs and down the corridors, you could hear this person still running behind you, but when you got to your hotel room, you felt their body press themselves over yours in a protecting hug “shh baby,” you heard Aston’s whisper that soothed you, but you just could about feel tears brimming in your eyes “where is he?” You asked him quietly, as he didn’t reply, but took the hotel room card key and open the hotel room door, and took you inside, “go get ready for bed, and then I’ll tell you,” he said softly as he escorted you over to the bathroom as he handed you your PJs “thanks,” you whispered as he smiled, but stopped you from closing the bathroom door, but he smiled gently before looking at you softly, but then started to lean in before pressing his lips gently over yours, before pulling away allowing your arms to wrap around his neck as his wrapped tightly around your waist “you are so brave,” he whispered before kissing your lips again.

A little amount of time had passed, and both Aston and you, had just settled down for the night, but as you both were asleep you stayed awake “so what happened to him?” You asked quietly “I watched him run off, he didn’t do much else... Although he said he’d be back for you, but I ain’t letting you out of my sight!” He said protectively making you smile “who is he though?” He asked slightly concerned “he’s my ex boyfriend... Miles...” “Oh I have heard about him, but only his name, but carry on,” “well, we broke up, because I wasn’t in the best of times... My sister’s daughter had passed away...” you said watching Aston’s face turn in to a deep frown “and I came home one night, from sorting out the funeral and I caught him in the living room... On the floor, shagging some blonde girl,” you cried softly as Aston frowned even more, but pulled you deeply in to his body, wrapping his arms around your delicate body, as you mumbled your cries in to his shoulder, as he stroked the back of your head gently “shh baby... Forget him... If I see him I’ll show off how I and you are so strong that nothing will break us! You know I won’t cheat on you, right?” He asked you softly, almost looking like a puppy, but you didn’t reply “don’t you?” He asked getting slightly upset “I do... It’s just that, I had been told by Olly that you were like Miles...” “Don’t listen to other people... You’ll never see me around another girl, or getting so close to another girl to the point I’d shag her, you know that I have a few close girls, but trust me... I’m not gonna get in to any of their knickers, only yours,” he winked making you giggle, as you gently slapped his chest “cheeky,” “I’m a Merrygold, what do you expect,” he chuckled as you giggled, warming up after the little crying incident “but come on babe, cheer up and smile for me, I won’t do ANYTHING to hurt you... you have my word for it,” he whispered to you as you smiled “thanks Aston,” you whispered “alright baby girl, get some sleep... You have bloodshot eyes,” he said softly as he gently kissed your temple, as you curled up and fell asleep in his arms.
