Gen sat at her desk, staring at the picture she took down from the wall.

Barry and the rest of the police had left a few hours ago, leaving her and Delilah to figure out what the hell was going on.

Delilah sat at the edge of the desk, her legs crossed, and pursed her lips. "What if it's-"

"It's not him," Gen snapped, "he's dead, and so are his followers. We made sure of that remember?"

Delilah held up her hands in surrender, "Fine. Then who could it be?"

She hopped off the desk and walked over next to Gen. She looked down at the back of the picture, reading the message.

"I know who you really are. Don't deny it. I can't wait to see you soon." she read out.

Gen bit her lip and shrugged. "For once, I'm completely clueless."

She stood up from her chair and walked around Delilah. She grabbed the picture and hung it back up.

"Dee, we'll find out who it is. We always do."

Delilah nodded and headed for the door, her black heels clicking against the wooden floor, "For now, let's just focus on our current cases, alright?"

Gen nodded halfheartedly, still studying the picture. "Mhmm."

Delilah walked out, but not without sparing one more glance at Gen, her eyes filled with pity and shame.

It was now 8:30 and Gen really needed a drink. She thought about calling Caitlin and Cisco, then laughed.

Caitlin and alcohol did not mix, and Cisco would probably drink the entire bar.

So, she decided to call the one person she knew wouldn't say no to a night out.

Iris West.

Gen sat in her car, her phone on speaker as she dialed Iris' number.

After a couple of rings she picked up.

"Hello?"

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Not much, just got off my shift. Why?"

"How does a night out with muah sound?"

Gen heard Iris laugh, causing her to laugh too.

"Honestly, a night out with you sounds amazing right about now. "

"Cool, how about I pick you up in about an hour?"

"Sounds good to me."

Gen smiled, "Alright Iris, see ya soon."

"Bye Gen."

She ended the call and placed her phone on the passenger's seat.

Her car rolled up to the end of the block and stopped at the red light.
