The man in red had left minutes ago, but Gen's heart was still racing.

How the hell could someone run that fast? No one can run that fast. It's impossible.

Maybe he's some type of robot?

"Well whoever or whatever he is, he saved my ass." She muttered.

She pushed herself up and leaned back on the dumpster. She peeked around the corner and some men knocked out cold and others slowly coming to.

One van was gone. Gen sighed in relief. She wouldn't have to deal with anymore gunmen on her way out.

"Maybe she's this way." A voice echoed throughout the alley.

Gen threw herself back and held her breath.

"I hope so. I mean, her car is here." Another voice said.

Gen scrambled for her gun that was tucked in the back of her pants. She clicked off the safety and held the gun tightly.

She heard footsteps getting closer.

Beads of sweat covered her forehead. Her other hand gripped her shoulder tight in attempt to stop the bleeding, but blood still soaked her shirt.

Her hand slightly shook as she waited for the people to get closer.

"If I'm gonna die here, might as well go out guns blazing."

Once she heard the footsteps right next to the dumpster, she jumped out.

"Maybe she- Bloody hell!" Delilah shrieked.

Gen had shot two bullets, causing Delilah and Valdez dropped to the floor.

They both looked up and saw Gen in her disheveled state.

Delilah immediately ran up to Gen taking the gun away from her, while Valdez slipped off his coat and draped it on her shoulders.

"Gen look at me. Gen? Genevieve." Delilah said.

Gen kept her gaze on the ground, her expression hard.

"Come on, let's go before those goons figure out your still here." Delilah gently took Gen's arm in attempt to lead her out of the alley.

Sirens screamed through Central City, only a few blocks away from them.

"Snow, the cops are going to be here any minute. We really need to split." Valdez urged.

She raised her eyes and looked at Valdez, "I need to find out who he is."

Valdez raised an eyebrow, "What the hell are you talking about?"

The sitens were getting closer. "Whatever it is, we can discuss it back at HQ. Now let's get our asses moving." Delilah pressed.

She tried to wrap an arm around Gen, but she shrugged her off. "I'm fine. Let's go."

She walked ahead of the other agents, leaving them to share questioning glances at each other.

They had pulled out of the alley just in time. The police went barreling down the alley.

Gen watched Joe and Barry hop out of the cop car and head down the alley.

She turned back around and slumped against the door, her head resting on the window.

Delilah glanced at her through the rear view mirror, "Gen, when we get back to the office I-"

"No," Gen said, "not there. They'll know that's the first place I'd head."

She gripped her shoulder tighter, "Head to the hospital."

"Did you hit your head or something?" Valdez snapped

"Just listen. They can't go shooting up a hospital the way they shot all around that alley. I'm guessing they thought it was going to be easy to take me at that traffic light." She said

Delilah sighed, "That doesn't mean the hospital is the perfect place to go."

"That's exactly what it means Dee." She sighed.

"What about Barry and them. They'll want an explanation when they find out a bullet had to be taken out of your shoulder."

"Leave that to me. Valdez just drop us off and head back to the office. See if they're waiting. And if they are," she sneered, "take them out."

Valdez sighed and glanced at Delilah. They shared a few looks before Delilah sighed, "Alright, we'll go with your plan."

Gen relaxed into the chair and nodded.

"Just try not to die in my back seat before we get there," Valdez said.

Delilah punched his arm and Gen smirked. "I'll try my best."

The car skidded to a stop in front of the hospital.

Delilah and Gen jumped out and headed for the emergency door. At this point Gen was extremely pale abd barely able to see straight.

"I need a nurse! Someone help her!"
Delilah yelled.

Immediately nurses flocked around them. One brought over a gurney while another helped Delilah hold Gen up.

Before they took Gen away, she looked at Delilah and gave her a nod, "Remember the plan."

She was then swept away with the wave of yelling doctors and nurses.
