Okay so I know having my note first is a bit different, but bare with me.
I hope you all like this chapter and if I do nake a mistake on something, because it's been a while since I've seen Arrow , don't bite my head off. And remember this is still when Starling City was still named Starling City.
Thanks babes!!!

The rain pattered violently against the train window as it sped away from horrible memories and towards new opportunities. Gen sat back in her seat, elbow propped up on the window. Her gaze didn't waver from the continuous droplets that littered the window.
For once in a long time, her mind was fogged. She couldn't focus, and frankly she didn't care at the moment.
Which was a very dangerous thing.
They could be watching her at any moment, maybe on this train, maybe back at the train station. The possibilities are endless.
"I could be putting Ollie and everyone at risk," she thought. She ran a hand over her worn face and sighed, "but I can't go back to Central City. It's too dangerous, I can't get anyone hurt."
Her leg began bouncing out of nervousness, something she never truly did since she was a child.
But things have changed for Gen. She's not the kickass, go with the flow kind of chick anymore. No, she was far from that now.
She was broken, and she wasn't sure the damage would be fixable.
It felt like someone opened her chest, took her heart and tore it into a million pieces. Every minute she was breathing, the pang in her heart failed to cease. It felt like someone stuffed her head with cotton, preventing her from having any clear thoughts.
Soon enough the train reached Starling City and rushed past skyscraper after skyscraper. She missed being somewhere familiar. Somewhere she might feel safe.
Soon enough the train came to a screeching halt and a muffled voice crackled througout the train. Gathering her baggage, she followed the crowd out and atepped out on to the platform.
This station seemed just as busy as National City. And they weren't as nice either.
People rushed past her, and if they bumped into her they didn't say a word. They'd simply glare and continue on their way. Gen was more than happy to return the favor and managed to push past people until she reached the pick up area. The rain had picked up, the soft droplets turning into speeding bullets against her skin.
Her gaze wandered around, hoping to see him. Hoping he actually came.
It had been about five minutes when she saw him. He stood there, one hand holding an umbrella and another in his jacket pocket. He was much taller, and handsome, than she last remembered.
She began walking towards him, not breaking the intense eye contact. When she was only a foot away, she stopped and looked up at him. She wiped some droplets out of her eyes to see clearly.
The smallest of smiles made its way on to her face as she mumbled, "Hey Ollie...long time no see..."
