en hadn't moved from her spot on the cold kitchen floor for at least 2 hours. Her small hands trembled in her lap and her dazed gaze didn't leave the tipped over cardboard box with Delilah's picture in it.

Oh god...Delilah...

She was used to death. Most of the time she was the one ending someone's life.

But Delilah was a friend. No, she was more than that.

She was family.

Gen's family, and some sadistic bastard took the liberty of ripping Delilah away from this world. Suddenly she felt her stomach churn and bile rose up in her throat. She scrambled off the floor, her hand over her mouth, and fell to her knees in front of the toilets.

All the contents of her stomach were extracted into the toilet, leaving Gen breathing heavily and small beads of sweat lingered on her brows.

With a shaky hand, she flushed the toilet and pulled herself up, leaning on the sink.

She rinsed out her mouth and splashed cool water on her face.

This was all some game to the sick freak that killed Delilah. He wanted Gen to suffer.

But she wouldn't let him see that. Or her. Or them. Or whoever the hell has been tormenting her for months.

She made her way out of the bathroom on shaky legs and made her way to her room. She lazily threw whatever clothes were in sight in a bag and slipped on her jacket.

They knew where she was now. She wasn't safe here.

But where would she go? Was Central City the safest place? They could be waiting for her right now.

She shook her head and ooened the door, stepping out. She locked the door, proving difficult to turn the key with shaky hands, and walked to the elevator.

Gen wracked her brain for places she could go. Gotham City? No, that's probably the worstplace to go. Metropolis? Maybe, but it was too populated.

Then that's when a switch flicked on in her head.

Maybe she was looking at this all wrong.

With a new found purpose, she quickly made her way out of the elevator and outside of the building.

The sidewalk was buzzing with life, Gen easily blending in. She was able to walk the three blocks to the train station.

Pushing past the crowd of slow moving people, she made it to the booth where a short red head woman sat, filing her nails.

"Hi miss?" Gen said in a controlled voice.

The woman looked up and sighed, putting her nail file down. "How may I help you?"

Gen gripped her bag a bit tighter and took a small breath, "One ticket to Starling City please."
