Sure it was easy for Gen to block out the physical pain, but the emotional pain seemed to only grow. This psycho was going after Barry. Her Barry. She couldn't even fathom what kind of pain and torture he might be going through right now. Unshed tears seemed to cloud her vision as she mindlessly stared up at the faded white ceiling.

This sudden wave of rage seemed to overtake her. She couldn't let this bastard win. He wanted to see her broken and beyond repair, that's what she's assuming at least. Why else would this guy be harassing her, destroying everything good in her life. She began pulling at her restraints, grunts leaving her lips. She felt a burning sensation on both wrists, but she ignored it and continued to tug at the leather restraints.

Suddenly the metal door swung open and the man was back, and with a new guest. "I do hope you don't mind the company. My other room is under construction." He didn't give Gen time to reply before turning on his heels and walking out, the door slamming behind him. Her gaze drifted to the person in the wheelchair and stifled a gasp. It was Barry.

A fresh gash could be seen just above his right eyebrow. His lip was split and bruises covered his jaw and arms. There is most likely more damage internally. His short brunette locks were unkept and his clothes were dirty and wrinkled. Gen gulped and tried to turn her body towards him as much as she could.

"B-Barry? Hey Barry are you okay? Please respond Bar-" A low moan escaped the speedster's lips as he began to gain some consciousness. Gen sighed in relief that he was still alive. She wouldn't know what to do if she was the reason he died. He lifted his head up, his eyes fluttering open. Previous events rushed back to him because his eyes widened and he frantically tugged at his restraints. She tried calming him down, but he seemed to be stuck in his own little world at the moment.

"Barry! You idiot look at me! Hey calm down!" She raised her voice at him. After a couple of seconds his attempts lessened and he finally made eye contact with her. "Genevieve? What...where are we? What is all this? I thought you-" She simply shook her head, "I know the plan was for me to skip town, but obviously there has been a change of plans." She laid her head back down on the metal table, still keeping eye contact with Barry, "First things first are you okay? You look like you took quite the beating."

He broke eye contact and his gaze traveled around the room, "Well whoever took me jumped me at Star Labs, injected me with something, and now I'm here... with you...Great." She eyed Barry wearily and looked away, sensing the cold tone to his voice. Nonetheless she sighed, "I'm sorry you got sucked into this. If I never came back-"

Barry's jaw clenched in anger, "You should of stayed away. It would of been better for all of us." Gen felt the air leave her lungs as his words registered in her head. She bit her lower lip, hard enough to draw blood. She shook her head and whispered, "you don't mean that Barry..." The speedster simply kept his gaze on the wall, the floor, anywhere where Gen wasn't in his line of sight. His lack of a response seemed to be his response. He did mean what he said. Gen came to the realization that Barry Allen officially hated her guts.

She swallowed the lump that formed in her throats and turned her head away so he couldn't see the single tear that slipped out of her eye. "Oh," was all she could say without breaking down in tears. From then on it was silent. Neither of them spoke to each other, but from time to time they'd sneak glances of each other knowing they wouldn't get caught.

When Gen decided to close her eyes and take a cat nap, probably due to the extreme sleep deprivation and torture she had gone through earlier, Barry took the time to study the mystery of a woman that laid in front of him. He studied the countless bruises and cuts that littered her legs. Her top was cut to expose her belly, where more bruises, burns, and cuts were. He noticed one long gash that ran from her waist and up at least 4 inches. He winced just thinking about what Gen had gone through before he showed up. Who knows how long this psycho was down here torturing her. More bruises and burns were scattered along her arms and a long gash was visible on her cheek. He also noticed the dried tear stains and dark circles underneath her eyes. He internally groaned and slouched in the wheelchair. This girl would be the death of him.

Caitlin sat frozen on the stool in the Cortex, her eyes trained on Cisco. The young genius paced back and forth with his hands tangled in his hair. "Oh god oh god oh god, Caitlin what are we going to do? That guy took Barry!" Caitlin nodded her head as Cisco continued to pace. "I know." He shook his head and let his hands drop to his sides, "we aren't capable of going after doctor crazy! I can barely shoot a gun and I seriously doubt you have some secret karate moves. We are so screwed."

Caitlin rolled her eyes, getting slightly annoyed with Cisco's dramatics and slid off the stool. She made her way over to the computers and grabbed her phone that sat next to the keyboard. Despite Caitlin obviously not paying attention to Cisco, he kept rambling on about Joe getting knocked out and Barry being injected with some liquid and how he got into a fight his freshman year of high school and horribly lost. Caitlin on the other hand scrolled through her contacts and tapped the line that read: Gen 😝💚💚💚. She tapped the call button and brought the phone to her ear. The phone rang once then twice then a third time. It rang about seven times before the monotone voice of the voicemail lady came on.

"You have reached the voicemail of Genevieve. Please leave a message after the tone..." Caitlin sighed and went to hang up, but she didn't hear the initial beep that was suppose to go off. Instead she heard a soft click and the low chilling chuckle of a man. She instantly knew someone picked up the phone, "But if this is one of Barry Allen's friends listen closely. Your friend seems to be in a bit of a pickle here. I turned the off switch on his little magic trick so don't count on him saving the day anytime soon. You might find it strange I'm talking about Mr. Allen meanwhile your calling Genevieve. Well, those two complete each other. Who would I be to deny someone to not be with their other half in their last breathing moments. Anyway, I need you to listen closely. If in fact you want to foolishly attempt to rescue Barry Allen you must know the truth about Genevieve Snow. Go to the old plane graveyard. Hangar #5 is where you will need to be at exactly 9:45. Not a minute before or after, punctuality is always important, and don't attempt to get the police involved. Trust me honey it won't be pretty if they do. Fail to follow these instructions and both die tonight without an ounce of hesitation on my part. It was a pleasure talking with you Caitlin. Bye bye now." With that a soft click was heard and the line went dead. A teary eyed Caitlin looked over to a horrified and silent Cisco who heard the whole conversation.

"We're going to need some help," was all Cisco could say.

Author's Note
Oh my god guys this book is reaching it's final chapter soon. I honestly never thought I'd live to see the day where I wasn't lazy and actually stuck to something like this. Thank you to everyone that took the time to comment and vote for this story it honestly makes me so happy when you guys do that. I do believe the next chapter will be the end I'm not quite sure, but don't worry it won't be the last you've seen of Genevieve Snow.
