I have another nightmare that night, nothing like the terrifying one of the Wolf Monster with red eyes, no; this one was a repetitive replay of finding my parents lying stone cold on the ground. Finding myself wide awake in the early hours of the morning, too scared to close my eyes again, I push down the pain threatening to overwhelm me and gingerly climb out of bed to slowly walk towards the bathroom. Looking at myself in the mirror, I notice dark bruise-like circles under my eyes from lack of sleep and my hair a tangled mess.

I remove my baggy top and shorts before stepping into the shower, combing shampoo and conditioner through my greasy hair and scrubbing my body until I feel raw. Brushing my teeth and washing my face, I put my hair into one long braid before wrapping myself in a large towel and stepping back into the bedroom for clothes. Soon enough, I realised that all my belongings from my room back at home had been transferred here and I opened the closet to find all my clothes.

I end up having to put a belt through my jeans so that they hold onto my waist, due to my weight loss and wearing a jumper that was sliding down one shoulder. Tip toeing down the stairs, I find my way to the kitchen and set out the task in cooking a big breakfast whilst everyone is fast asleep. The challenge was to make as little noise as possible.

By the time the sun has risen, I'd finished and the table in front of me is breakfast ready; plates of freshly baked croissants, bacon, eggs, bread, butter, cheese and of course coffee.

I hear Lilah's daughter, Thea, let out a small cry which was soon followed by footsteps thumping down the stairs. My eyes weren't prepared to see a topless Caleb and Micah, followed by sleepy Jazz and his mate with their child in her arms as they rushed into the kitchen. The shock on their faces detracts me from the half nakedness and I give my feet a small smile.

"Cass?" Caleb's shocked yet confused face slowly breaks into a wide smile before wrapping his arms around me.

I stand stiffly and let Caleb hug me before he leans back and takes a concerned look at me.

"Are you okay?" he frowns in worry.

I shrug and look around the kitchen before my eyes fall on Micah.

"This is awfully nice of you, thank you." He murmurs.

Lilah beams at me before setting Thea on a high chair, it had only been three weeks and Thea was growing at a rapid rate due to the Werewolf blood in her. I rush to help her out but slow down when my body protests in weakness.

"You've done enough, Omega. Just relax and eat." Jazz pulls a chair out for me and I smile in thanks before I take a seat.

I eat silently as Micah and Jazz talk about Alpha/Beta things whilst Caleb pulls faces at Thea, making her gurgle in amusement.

"Apparently the numerous raids have stopped." Caleb joins in the conversation.

"I thought we were done talking about those monsters who call themselves a pack." Delilah wines, her face scrunching up as a fearful shudder runs through her.

Even I disliked the topic on the Blood Moon Pack, they were scary stories that parents told their children in an attempt to get them to not wander off on their own. To build fear into pack members so that they don't go rogue, otherwise face the terrors of the Mad Alpha.

Just the thought of the Mad Alpha raised the hairs on my arms and neck.

"Caleb's right though, there hasn't been any reports concerning that pack since the last full moon." Jazz notes as he takes a massive bite into a piece of bacon filled toast.

"There's nothing to worry about, Delilah." Micah gives her a small smile and she visibly relaxes.

The power of Alpha's truly rendered pack members submissive to them.
