Cristiano's POV
Cristiano was back at the hotel and sitting down to dinner with his team mates.
They all liked to tease him about his vanity and the photo shoots but he always laughed it off.
At least he would have something to fall back on once he retired from football. His brands would keep him going.
He was being served his meal by a very over zealous waitress who was doing everything she could to catch his attention, he played along and flirted back. It was expected of him, it was what all the guys done.
He wasn't interested though, she was blonde and Cristiano only went for brunettes, otherwise she might have made for a good fling. He tucked into his meal while scrolling through his phone, he suddenly realised his wrist was bare, he wondered where his watch could be, did he take it off upstairs in his room, trying to remember back.
He had only gone into the room to dump his bag he didnt remember removing his watch, why would he, he just knew he had worn it this morning.
His mind wandered back to the afternoon at the photo shoot, maybe he left it at the studio. He knew he had taken it off for the pictures. I'll check my bag when I go upstairs he thought to himself.
He thought about the shoot and remembered the girl, Donna he said to himself, he liked that name, it suited those eyes.
He remembered the eyes clearly, how sparkling blue they were.
He'd never seen eyes like that before.Just then he was snapped from his thoughts by the waitress squealing, he looked up to see Ramos, his team mate had pulled the girl onto his lap and she was pretending to be shocked but secretly she was loving it, these girls were so lame sometimes he thought.
She probably just wanted to bed one of the players so she would have something to brag about or worse to sell her story to the press he thought.
It was one of the reasons he was very careful of who he had a fling with, he didn't let just anyone close to him, he had to know they could be trusted.
His thoughts wandered back to the girl from the studio, he remembered the shape of her body, in particular her ass, she was very petite but everything seemed to be in the right place and Damn it looked good, especially when he had managed to have a glimpse down her top.
That was certainly a woman he would have liked a fling with.
He felt himself getting a bit too excited about that image and realised he would have to shift his thoughts, after all he was in a restaurant full of his team mates.
Just then his phone vibrated, it was his mother calling, probably to allow Cristiano junior to say goodnight to his dad.
He answered the phone getting up from the table and waving goodbye to his team mates.
Cris made his way into the hotel foyer and stopped beside the large marble fountain. "Who does daddy love?" He asked
"Junior that's who" squealed his son
Cristiano laughed "of course I do, now you go to bed and be a good boy for vovo"
"I will, goodnight papai" said junior passing the phone to his grandma
"I hope your well son, we miss you" said Cris's mother
"I'm fine, I miss you too.cant wait to be home" he replied
"Goodbye son, bless you" and with that the phone went dead.
Cristiano looked at his phone, it was 10:30 and he was exhausted.
He looked around the foyer to see couples either walking hand in hand or kissing.
He wasn't into the PDA's, he thought it was too showy and that somethings should be kept in private. He missed home, he loved his job and the travelling that entailed was always a good excuse to see the world.
The nights out with the team were good but nothing compared to being at home with his family.
As he rode up to his room in the glass elevator he looked out at the city beneath him. It was like nowhere he had been before but something about it struck with him.
It was a bustling city with all its sparkling lights but yet it seemed calm to him. He had struggled to understand the accent in the 4 days he had been here but he liked it.
Entering the room he threw the key on the small table behind the door and took his shirt off, throwing it on the chair by the window.
He remembered about his watch and decided to search for it in his bag.
Five minutes later and the contents of the bag were strewn over the hotel room floor and still no sign of the watch.
He must have left it at the studio he thought. He dialled his managers number and immediately Jorge answered "my son, what can I do for you at this late hour"
"I must have left my watch at the studio today, Is there anyway you could have someone swing by and pick it up since I fly home first thing tomorrow?" Cris asked
Instantly his thoughts went back to the girl and those beautiful eyes.
If he didn't have to catch such an early flight he would have used the watch as an excuse to go back to the studio.
Who knows, a few more days here and they could have had a fling he thought.
"Sure, no problem, anything for you. I'll get someone on it right away" answered Jorge
"Thanks Jorge" said Cristiano hanging up the phone
After brushing his teeth Cristiano climbed into bed, he was exhausted it had been a very long day.
He rolled onto his side and lay there looking out over the sparkling city from the ceiling to floor window of the hotel room.
Once again his thoughts wandered to the girl, "Donna" he said Her name out loud, he liked how it sounded, he imagined whispering it in her ear while kissing her neck.
He thought about that tight skirt and how it hugged her shape in all the right places.
He wondered how it would feel looking into those beautiful blue eyes while making love to her.
Cris began to get a little excited and he felt a stirring in him. He was driving himself crazy, he really needed to have sex soon he thought.
That must be what it is, he rarely put this much thought into girls. He didn't need to they threw themselves at him.
He wondered where the girl was, probably tucked up in bed with her boyfriend he imagined, there was no way she was single.
She probably wasn't thinking about him right now.
In fact there was no way she was he said to himself.
