"I hate him. I hate him. No matter what I'll always hate him."

You continued saying this to yourself. So that you'll never forgive him, not after all those lies. You were all fools to fall for such a trap. Then again, who would suspect him? He had been so kind, especially towards you. That's why you still had a hint of denial. But your reasoning always countered it.

"That.....backstabbing bastard!!!" You punched your wall for a third time. "How could I fall for it! He was never Ray! He was always that disgusting Barian monster!"

You stomped angrily around your room while pulling at your hair. It had been at least two days since Ray's- no, Vector's betrayal. And it was still carved in your mind. The fact that he planned it from the start angered you enough but breaking Yuma and Astral turned you furious.

"We'll defeat him. No, I'll personally deal with him!" You stopped in front of your mirror and tried to even out your breathing. "I'm such an idiot. Believing in those lies. What kind of gullible person am I?"

You couldn't bear to look at yourself anymore. Yuma already blamed himself for falling for Vector's lies, but you blamed yourself much more. It was true, you were never informed that he was a Barian, but you and Ray held a close relationship. While everyone chatted amongst each other, you and Ray would have your own secret conversations. He would tell you things he never said to the others, not even Yuma. And in return, you did the same. A foolish mistake.

"I bet that monster already has another sick trap waiting for all of us." You looked at the cloudy,dark sky outside. You couldn't even see the stars. "But we won't fall for it, not this time."

You went into your bathroom to get ready for bed. Your thoughts still on the Barian. Never have you felt like this, it was a mixture of pain, anger, frustration, sadness, and guilt. You hated it. In an effort to ease your mixed emotions, you got comfortable in bed and tried your best to sleep soundly. But even in your dreams, you were always reminded.

"Hello (y/n)!"

"Hi Ray!" You settled down next to him and smiled brightly. He returned the smile and scooted closer to you.

"So how has your day been so far?"

"You don't always have to ask Ray." You giggled. "It's the same as every other day."

"But I like asking you!" He whined. "I always want to know because if you ever have a bad day I'll always be here to make it better!" He wrapped his arm around you in a protective and reassuring way. You felt your cheeks warm up.

"Your too much Ray!" You lightly pushed him away. "I'm glad your here with me."

"So am I (y/n)!" He then proceeded to look around nervously. Checking if anyone was around. You took notice.

"Is something wrong?"

"N-Not at all!" He stuttered. "It's just that... well. (Y/n) I know we've been close friends but...."

"But?" You waited for him to continue.

"I don't want to be your friend! It's not enough!"

"Not enough?" Your mind was running wild. Was he-

"Please (y/n)! Will you be my girlfriend!" He snatched your hands and looked you straight in the eyes. He was confident and awaited for your answer. By that time your face was burning.

"Ray I-" your heart was racing. This was too good to be true, was this really happening? You looked into his wide violet eyes. Wait a minute. No! Stop it your doing it again! This is not real!
