"Uuuuuuuuugh."

Jaden kept rolling around in bed while making continuous whining noises. Syrus was reading a book and did his best to ignore his roommate. It wasn't until Jaden rolled off his bed that Syrus finally closed his book.

"Jaden? What's with you all of a sudden? You've been acting weird ever since you stepped in here."

Jaden sighed. "I just need help Syrus. I've been trying to figure it out myself but I can't come up with anything!"

"Well what do you need help with? I'm sure I could help out!" Syrus placed his book far off to the corner of his desk and crouched down next to his friend.

"It's about (y/n)..." He started.

"Oh, you mean that girl you have a crush-?" His mouth was quickly covered as Jaden bolted up and hushed him.

"Not so loud! Someone can hear you!"

"But there's no one here but us Jay. Chazz and the others left a while ago."

"Umm, still!" Jaden crossed his arms and appeared to be deep in thought. "It's just that, I'm not sure how I should make my feelings clear for her. Alexis and Zane gave me some advice but even now I can't make up my mind."

"Wow this is a first." Syrus laughed. "I always figured you were a dense person when it came to romance and stuff."

"Hey I'm not that dense!" He shouted. "So are you gonna help me or not?"

"Of course!" Syrus reached back to his desk and turned on the computer.

"What are you doing?" Jaden asked as he got back on his feet.

"I'm going to search up ways you can tell someone you like them of course."

"What!? But I don't want to tell her face to face!"

"Then how else will you do it?"

"I don't know, can't I just do umm, nice things and stuff?"

"Ooooooh." Syrus nodded his head and reached for his phone. "So you want to kinda hint to (y/n) that you like her. I know just the person to help you!"

"Really?" Jaden smiled eagerly.

"Yup! I'll call them over right now!"

Jaden jumped back on his bed and cheered loudly. He really wanted to let you know about his feelings for you, but he was a rookie at this stuff. He and Syrus waited patiently for the said person, a short while later, someone knocked. Syrus went to open the door. Jaden's happiness quickly changed to confusion.

"Bastion?"

"Good evening Jaden." He greeted.

"Umm, what are you doing here?" Jaden asked awkwardly.

"To help you if course! Syrus told me about your predicament and as my friend I hastily agreed to help you."

Jaden looked at Syrus hoping for some answers. Instead, he gave Jaden a thumbs up and grinned. Jaden scratched the back of his head and chuckled.

"Well alright, so how can you help me Bastion?"

"Well we'll need to work on your courting skills obviously. In order to show a lady you truly care for them, you must be a gentleman."

"Gentleman?" Jaden gulped. "O-okay! Let's get started!"

After that quick lesson, Jaden decided to put his teachings to the test next morning. After class was over, he quickly made way to the cafeteria where he would meet you like every other day.
