Jesse x Reader

"Where is it where is it!?" You scavenged around desperately knocking over papers and books that were in your way.

"I couldn't have lost it! I just had it!" You checked on the floor as well as any small corners of your classroom. Some students gave you confused looks and others whispered behind your back.

You finally gave up and simply sat on the floor sighing. One of your friends finally noticed your tired figure and went beside you.

"Why are you sitting on the floor (y/n)? Everyone's looking at you."

"I lost it." You sobbed. "I lost it (f/n)!"

"Lost what? It's not like you to get so worked up like this."

"My necklace! I can't find it anywhere!"

Your friend gasped. "You mean the necklace your parents gave you!?"

"Yes." You wailed. "I haven't even had it that long and I already lost it."

"Don't worry I'll help you look!" Your friend got you back on your feet and went to look for the necklace in your other classes. You searched elsewhere in the cafeteria and outside of the school buildings.

*Jesse's POV*

"Ah, another sunny day." Jesse smiled softly and looked at the sight before him. He was on the roof again resting and talking with his Crystal Beasts.

"Well, can't stay up here for too long, might get into some trouble." He chuckled. Jesse looked at the scenery a while longer, then he felt a weight on his shoulder. "Oh hello Ruby. Up already I see."

Ruby cooed softly and jumped on the railing surrounding the roof. There, she seemed to be looking at something and gestured Jesse to come over.

"Hmm? What are you looking at Ruby?" He came over and tried to see whatever Ruby was looking at. Then, something shiny caught his eye.

"What's that?"

Ruby quickly jumped down making Jesse shout after her. "Wait! Where are you going?" He followed after her and went downstairs. When he finally reached ground level, he spotted her at the place where he saw the strange item that was shining.

"So this is where you ran off to." He panted. Ruby moved aside and revealed that the object was actually a necklace with a bright gem hanging from it.

"A necklace? Now who may this belong to?" He picked up the necklace gently and observed the well crafted gem. It was a (favorite gem) that glistened brightly in the sunlight. Ruby cooed again.

"What was that? You know who dropped this?" Ruby nodded and began running off again.

"Woah hold on!" Jesse chased after her again with the necklace still clutched tightly in his hand.

While he was running after her, you were also running around frantically. "Could it be that I left it outside somewhere? Ahh what if someone already took it!" You groaned and searched through some bushes. Suddenly, there was a feeling that something was on your shoulder.

"What the-" You looked to your side but you saw nothing there. Then you heard someone else headed your way.

"Ruby!" Jesse turned and immediately met glances with you. You looked at him curiously.

"Umm, hello." You started.

Jesse snapped out of it. "Oh, hello there, sorry if I startled y'all."

"Hehe you didn't."

He noticed that you were looking through a bush and that Ruby was on your shoulder. "May I ask what you're searching for?"

"Oh." You snapped out of it too. "Sorry I was just looking for something of mine that I lost earlier today."
