Bakura x Reader

"Wow, it's really coming down isn't it?" You looked outside of your window. Rain was coming down hard and it didn't look like it would stop anytime soon. You were already getting ready to sleep but the sound of the rain pouring onto your roof was going to make it a tad bit difficult.

"Oh well, I'm sure it'll lighten up in the morning." You jumped into bed and threw your covers on. "Ahhh." You let out a relaxed sigh and began fading away into your well needed slumber.

But a certain something kept you awake. A loud buzzing sound coming from your school bag. At first you thought you imagined it, but after some more buzzing you knew you weren't dreaming. You rolled around in bed at first, even using your pillows to block out the noise, but it hardly made a difference.

"Ugh, who's calling at this hour?" You pushed off the blankets and slowly attempted to walk to your bag. When you finally reached it, you pulled out your cellphone and answered with an annoyed grunt.

"Hello?"

"Oh thank goodness you picked up (y/n)!"

"Yugi? Why are you calling me right now? Do you have any idea what time it is?"

"I know I'm sorry but we have a big problem!"

"Problem?" You perked up and listened closely.

"The Millennium Items are gone!"

"What!?" You screeched.

"I caught glimpse of the robber's silhouettes and I'm about to go after them!"

"So you need my help?"

"Mhm, please (y/n)! I know I can count on you!"

You looked around nervously. "Well then.... count me in! I'll be there in a few minutes, alright?"

"Thank you (y/n)." You heard Yugi let out a relieved sigh.

"Anytime pal~"

You hung up and switched the light on. Your parents had come and knocked on your door to ask what all the ruckus was but you didn't even waste a minute explaining.

"(Y/n), why on Earth did you scream like that?" Your mother asked first.

You hastily put on your shoes and jacket. "Emergency! Gotta go! Bye!" You hugged them both quickly and left the house.

They called your name but you ignored them. Right now you had somewhere to be. As soon as you stepped outside however, you were nearly drenched in the rain. You had completely forgotten about it. Normally you'd be annoyed but that was the least of your worries. Up ahead, you saw Yugi leave his house as well and was running off somewhere.

"Hey! Wait up Yugi!" You tried following him but you had already lost him. He had wondered off somewhere and you didn't know where.

"Yugi! Where are you?!" You jogged a little farther and checked every street. Nothing. "Damn, where did he go?"

You finally retreated under a rooftop and wiped all the rainwater off your face. "Maybe he went into an alley. Robbers would probably run through there too."

You panted heavily from all the running and once again set off in the rain. This time however, you slowly observed and walked through every alley you saw. While walking through an eerily quiet one, something shiny came into your line of vision.

"What the?" There was a bright twinkle at the end of the alley. "Is that Yugi's puzzle?" You eagerly set forward and followed the shine.

"Hey Yugi are you- " You stopped altogether. "Wait..... you're not...."
