"Hey Tea."

"What is it (y/n)?"

"Do you think Yugi would mind if I came over and pinched his cheeks?"

"............. what?"

"Would he mind if I pinched his cheeks?"

"I heard you but, why?" Tea looked at you with her eyebrow raised.

"Because he's so adorable! I mean look at him." You put your hand on her shoulder and pointed towards Yugi who was talking with someone.

"Um, okay. I mean, you could do that but wouldn't that be weird?"

You thought about it. "Damn, he would be weirded out." You leaned on the window and sighed.

"So why the sudden urge to pinch his cheeks?" She giggled.

"I just told you, he's so cute! How can you not!?"

She continued laughing. "Tell you what (y/n), go do that right now. I'm sure since you're friends he won't mind."

"But didn't you say it would be weird?"

"Well, yes but you should do it! Knowing Yugi, he won't mind one bit if it's you." She shoved you closer to Yugi.

"If it's me? What do you mean by that?"

"Hehe nothing!" She brought you closer to him and stepped back to her own desk. You eyed her suspiciously but went along with it.

"Hey Yugi!" You smiled.

"Ah, hello (y/n)!" He smiled back. You clutched your chest momentarily. How cute!

"So I was wondering if I could....... what are you doing?" You noticed he was trying to carry something.

"Oh this? The teacher asked me if I could take these boxes to the classroom down the hall." He attempted to lift the boxes again. "But it seems that." He barely lifted them off the desk. "These are pretty heavy." He chuckled.

"Here I'll help you!" You took two of the boxes and lifted them easily.

"Oh, thanks (y/n)!"

"Anytime!" The two of you left the classroom and walked to your destination. Guess I'll ask him about it later. You thought.

*Time Skip*

"So did you do it (y/n)?" Tea looked at you while taking out her lunch.

"No, Yugi had a lot to do today and I helped him out the whole time."

"So you missed your chance." She laughed.

"Yeah right! I'll try again later today!"

"Well then you should hurry up and eat your lunch."

You rolled your eyes. "Will do mom."

The two of you quickly ate your lunch while talking about some other things. Halfway through finishing, Tea caught glimpse of someone coming by. She smiled and packed up her lunch.

"Huh? Done already?" You asked.

"I just have something to take care of (y/n), I'll catch you later!" She waved goodbye and took off.

"Wait so you're just gonna leave me!?" You shouted.

"Don't worry someone else will keep you company!" She yelled back.

"Keep me company?"

"Hello (y/n)."

You were pulled out of your thoughts when Yugi's voice rang through your ears. "Hello Yugi! Finally taking a break I see." You grinned.

"You said it." He settled down next to you while holding his lunch. "Would you mind if we had lunch together?" He asked.

"Uhh sure!" You had already eaten most if your food but you didn't care.

"And also, Tea told me that you wanted to ask me something. I'm sorry for putting it aside until now." He had a guilty look on his face and you simply patted his head.

"It's alright Yugi, you were busy so I was fine with it." You placed your hand back on your lap. And even though you may have imagined it, it looked like he blushed from the sudden contact.

"S-So what was your question?"

"Well....." You twiddled your fingers and had a devious grin on your face. "Yugi." You said in a serious tone.

"Yes...?"

"May I." You stood up and faced him. "Pinch your cheeks?"

"........"

"........"

"........"

"........"

"Wha...? Um.....why?"

"Because your so cute damn it!" You instantly lunged forward and tackle-hugged him to the ground. He yelped in surprise.

"C-cute!?" His cheeks flushed red and you couldn't help but point it out.

"Aww see you're blushing!" You hugged him tighter and kept laughing. "You're too adorable Yugi!"

"Am not!"

Then, far off inside one of the school buildings, someone shouted at the two if you. "Just kiss already!" That then was followed by a loud hush.

You both heard it clearly. "Was that Joey?" Yugi asked.

"Meh." You shrugged. "It probably was." You leaned closer to him which made Yugi stutter even more.

"W-Wait what a-are you d-doing (y/n)!?"

"Haha you heard him right?" You inched closer to the boy's face, and hesitated a bit. In the end you kissed his forehead and got off him. Yugi also seemed surprised.

"Hmm, I'm not sure your ready for a real kiss." You teased. "So that will do for now."

Yugi sat up from his spot and touched his forehead. "Um, (y-y/n)? Why did you-"

"Because I like you." You said plainly and casually. "I have for a while now." You chuckled.

"What? Really?" His face heated up even more.

"Yes really!" You touched foreheads with him and smiled. Yugi tried his best to stop his heart from beating so fast. But with you so close to him at that moment, he did something daring.

"Sorry if I caught you by-" You stopped when you felt a soft pair of lips on your own. You opened your eyes widely to see that Yugi was kissing you. When you two separated, you were left speechless. Yugi noticed, and teased you back.

"Oh, was that too much for you (y/n)?" He grinned.

"Wha... you really....."

He nodded, cheeks still dusted a light pink. "So, (y/n). Would you like to go out and eat with me sometime? My treat."

You snapped out if it but you were still blushing. "I...would love to." You finally answered.

"Then it's a date." He picked himself up from the ground and offered his hand. You smiled and accepted it.

"Geez, you're just too damn cute."

The two of you kept your hands entertwined and simply looked at the other happily. Once more, there was voice that yelled at the two if you.

"Yeah they did it!" They yelled. He then proceeded to wolf whistle at you two. Seconds later you heard a slap and more hushing. You both just laughed and walked back to class.
