0.02 An Old Man, The Boy, Two Droids, and No Questions Asked

Harmony sat at a table, waiting for her brother and Chewbacca. She took a sip of her drink. It cooled her down from all the lights. She looked around to spot at least one of them. Harmony found Chewbacca talking to an old man, at the bar. She looked back down at her drink but looked back up when she heard a shout.

"Don't insult us. You just watch yourself. We're wanted men!"

She saw a dirty blonde boy, who looked about her age staring at a man with a weird nose. The man yelled at the doe eyed boy.

"I have the death sentence on twelve systems!"

"I'll be careful," the boy replied, quietly, turning back to face his drink.

The man spun him around, "YOU'LL BE DEAD!"

The old man from earlier whipped himself around and said to the criminal, "This little one isn't worth the effort. Come let me buy you something-"

Before the old man could continued, the offender pushed the young boy into a table with full force. The old man went to his defense and took something out of his pocket as the Bartender shouted, "No blasters! No blasters!"

It wasn't a blaster that the old man pulled out. The next turn events were quick as Harmony was blinded by a light, flashing while the old man sliced the man's arm off. She couldn't believe her eyes. It was a lightsaber. Chewbacca told her about the weapon, a long time ago. She remembered that it was the weapon of the Jedi. Harmony didn't know why because she believed blasters were much better. The light disappeared as the man put it in his pocket. She looked down at her cup and thought some more. Why was a Jedi here? Weren't they extinct? She looked up to find Chewbacca and the two troublemakers, standing in front. He growled.

"Oh, Han is over there," she told the Wookiee, "Want me to get him for-"

Before she could finish, Chewbacca walked over to get Han and introduce him to the other two. Harmony felt awkward between the two strangers. The boy kept staring at her.

"Um, excuse me," she snapped her fingers in front of his eyes, "Whatcha staring at, kid?"

His eyes blinked and he stopped looking at her. Han scouted in and Chewbacca sat next to him.

"Han Solo. I'm captain of the Millennium Falcon," he introduced himself before he pointed beside him to Harmony, "And this is my sister, Harmony."

"Chewie, here tells me you're looking for passage to the Alderaan system," Han told them.

The old man answered, "Yes, indeed. If it's a fast ship."

"Fast ship? You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?" Han gasped.

"Should I have?"

"It's the ship that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs!" Harmony explained.

Han asked, "I've outrun Imperial starships, not the local bulk-cruisers, mind you. I'm talking about the big Corellian ships now. She's fast enough for you, old man. What's the cargo?"

"Only passengers," the old man replied, "Myself, the boy, two droids, and no questions asked."

"What is it? Some kind of local trouble?" Harmony questioned.

The old man said to her, "Let's just say we'd like to avoid any Imperial entanglements."

Han and Harmony exchanged looks before her brother spoke, "Well, that's the trick, isn't it? And it's going to cost you something extra."

Han mouthed to her the price and then she turned to face the old man and the boy, "Ten thousand in advance."

"Ten thousand? We could almost buy our own ship for that!" The boy screamed.

"But who is going to fly it?" Harmony leaned in, "You pretty boy?"

"You bet I could," he leaned in close to the girl, "I'm not such a bad pilot myself!"

He looked to the old man, "We don't have to sit here and listen-"

The old man calmed the boy down and made the deal, "We haven't that much with us. But we could pay you two thousand now, plus fifteen when we reach Alderaan."

Harmony's eyes widen and her mouth was wide. She looked onto her brother's face. He was shocked as much as her. They were both amused.

"Seventeen huh?" She asked.

The old man nodded.

"Okay. You guys got yourself a ship. We'll leave as soon as you're ready. Docking bay Ninety-four," Han talked.

The old man repeated where the bay was. Harmony looked in the distance to find Stormtroopers and the bartender talking.

"Looks like somebody's beginning to take an interest in your handiwork," she smirked as she let everyone at the table followed her eyes.

The boy and the old man exited the table. Han and Harmony faced each other and then saw the Stormtroopers staring at them. The brother and sister duo waved and faked a smile.

"Seventeen thousand!" Harmony looked at her brother, "Those guys must really be desperate."

Han replied, "This could really save my neck!"

"Finally! We won't have Jabba on our backs!" She smiled.

He responded, "Chewie, you get back to the ship and get her ready."

Han and Harmony stood up and walked in a different direction of Chewbacca.

"Going somewhere, Solos?"

The siblings looked up to find an green alien, pointing a gun.
