"Fostering Fate"

My heart is not unbreakable,

It's made of fragile parts.

But my will's unshakeable,

Indomitable as the stars.

I can choose to take the pain,

That others have created,

And proliferate it again,

Never to be satiated.

Or I can go down in time,

As the end of the hurting cycle.

A reason to end a treason crime,

Love's one true disciple.

Can you join me in my dream,

To change this world of men?

It's not as easy as it seems,

To set our souls to mend.

It won't be what we all expect,

And the road is fraught with peril.

But united we can form respect,

Make ourselves less feral.

Don't let others make you hate,

And turn your anger on yourself.

We have goodwill beyond debate,

Just need to learn to share the wealth.

Just need to learn that we all are equal,

No matter where you're born.

Following the banner of an eagle,

Leaves us seperated and shorn.

We walk through life,

Like we're waiting for slaughter.

Can't decide,

Between fire and water.

Use the rains of love,

To stop the flames of hate.

Look to the skies above,

And see we have a higher fate...
