Anger begets hate.
This emotion cannot wait.
When we lose all control,
Nothing will satiate.
Fear can transform,
Into an angry storm.
Strong enough to topple buildings,
It comes and doesn't warn.
This leads to ruin,
Death is brewing.
Underneath the surface,
An insane hatred drooling.
We were made with this,
Understanding is missed.
Unknowing why,
We can have no bliss.
All wars were the result,
Of angry peoples' revolt.
A disagreement,
Leads to an angry jolt.
A knee-jerk reaction,
For self-satisfaction.
Hungry anger won't abate,
A leader's overreaction.
Self-destructive,
Hate is seductive.
An endless body high,
But it's nothing constructive.
Hate thy neighbor,
Seems a mindless labor.
Unheeded thoughts,
Cut our truce like a sabre.
Hatred's runaway storm,
Makes murder the norm.
An unindicted tragedy,
Upon us like a swarm.
Anger is a part of us,
Inside to make a fuss.
When the world is unfair,
We don't get to discuss.
It's ingrained,
Like monsoon rain.
An unstoppable train,
That helps us deal with pain.
In the end it leaves us drained,
Our most human of banes.
Don't let it take control,
Lest you realize your role,
In an endless human show.
Produced to see our race explode.
To the afterlife we go,
Obscured in the shadow...
Of the greatest hatred we know.
Ourselves...
