Alone in the dark,
Preparing to die.
A toothless shark,
With one last sigh.
Life cut short,
I won't let them win.
I've built a fort,
That won't let them in.
My last defense,
Against the rising tide.
It all makes sense,
Holding on for the ride.
The walls crumble now,
But I'll fight on.
I'll show them how,
My life is won.
In the end,
My spirit soars.
I give my life to defend,
What I stand for.
