Chapter 11
Well Friday finally came and Ivy and I were walking home to my house after school. Her mom had dropped off her sleeping bag and other stuff earlier.
“So what are we going to do first, Hannah.” Ivy said starting the mood for our weekend.
“Oh, I know but I want to tell you when we get home, okay?” I asked looking for Ben and Brendan, “Hey do you know where Ben and Brendan are?”
“No. Haven’t seen them since lunch today.”
“Oh okay”, I said getting a bad feeling in my stomach.
Then when we got home the feeling totally disappeared because they were waiting on the steps for us.
“Where have you been? I was starting to get worried”, Ben said standing up.
“You were?” Ivy asked with confusion in her voice.
“That’s what I said when we first sat down here”, Brendan exclaimed.
“Well we’re here now. You ready?” I asked Ben.
“Let’s do this”, Ben said heading up the stairs with Brendan, Ivy and I following him right into his room.
When we were in his room we told Ivy and Brendan to sit down then we nodded at each other and I went to close the shades while he locked the door and turned on his bedroom lights.
Next we stood right in front of Ivy and Brendan and asked them if they were ready.
“Yah.” Ivy and Brendan said at the same time and that was our cue.
“Ok, Well do you believe in angels or vampires?” I asked as I snapped out my wings and Ben jumped and turned into a bat.
“Whoa!” They both said as Brendan just stared and Ivy fell over backwards off Ben’s bed. Well that got me laughing.
“I told you, Ivy, to come prepared for anything”, I said through laughs and I collapsed on the floor laughing.
“Not prepared for you telling me that you’re an angel!” She exclaimed and climbed back onto the bed, “Now take those off.”
“I can’t” I said shrugging and I got up off the floor, “There a part of me.”
Well by now Ben had turned back into himself and was showing Brendan his fangs.
“They rock, Dude!” Brendan said giving Ben a high five.
“I know right!” Ben said.
“Now you guys”, I said trying not to sound to movie like, “You can’t tell anyone, not even our mom. We’re in hiding. Okay?”
“You’re in hiding from who?” Brendan asked.
“The World Experiments Administration”, Ben said answering Brendan’s question.
“Why do they want you?” Ivy asked worried.
“We don’t know quite yet”, I answered her, “But let’s have fun now shall we?”
“Yah” Ben, Brendan, and Ivy all said and we headed to my room.
