Chapter 26

So here I am looking around at our new surroundings and Black and Blue Eyed Weirdo comes over to me, rips the duck tap off my mouth and then picks me up to carry me inside.

“Ouch! That hurt!” I snapped at him.

“Who cares? Not me”, he said and then a guard opened a door for him and carries me inside.

“I do, now put me down!” I yelled at him.

“No!” He snapped at me. “You won’t get anywhere.” Then he set me down in a wheel chair and two more weirdoes came over to help him strap me down to it. As they did that I saw some other weirdoes bring Ben in and do the same to him. Then they pushed him down a different hall while he screamed: “Let me go! Where’s Hannah?! Hannah!!!”.

“Let. Me. GO!” I shouted threw gritted teeth but they just ignored me and finished strapping me down. “I said-“

“We heard you the first time, Angel!” They shouted at me witch caught me off guard. Then they pushed me into an elevator and we went to the twentieth floor witch, I think, was so stupid because if I did get away then I could fly. Next when we got out of the elevator we came into a hallway that looked like… a children’s hospital?

The walls were covered with murals and kids were walking everywhere. Each kid was different. One boy was at a table with pieces of metal on it and when he put his hand over a piece it turned into a doorknob. Another girl was standing still and then the next thing you know-Bam!- she was right in front of you. Then one girl was just sitting in a corner looking around a bit shy and scared.

The only thing all these kids had in common were the bracelets they had on both their wrists. They looked like they were made of metal and had blinking lights going all the way around them. Then Black and Blue Eye left my wheel chair and came back with some for me. Then he put them on my wrists, untied me from my chair and pushed me next to a table.

“Have a nice day!” he said with an evil look and then went back down the elevator. Once he was gone everyone looked at me and I panicked. Next everyone in the room except for the girl in the corner came over and surrounded me in my wheelchair and started asking me questions.

“What’s your name?” someone asked.

“Why are you here?” a boy to my right asked.

“What can you do?”

“How did you break you ankle?” But by then they all had probably said over a hundred questions so I got them to shut up.

“HEY!” I shouted getting their attention. “One at a time! Please!” I said and then they all raised a hand.

“Yes? You in the blue shirt”, I said pointing to a boy in the front row.

“How did you break your ankle?” He asked.

“The guy that brought me in here knocked my feet out from under me and I landed on my foot wrong. Next?” Then I called on a little girl in the front.

“What’s your special ability?” She asked a bit excited.

“Ummm… where do I start?” I asked myself out loud, “Ummm… I can talk telepathically, fly, turn invisible, and I have telekinesis. Next?”

“How can you fly? Wings or not?” Asked a tall girl in the back.

“Wings”, I said and then they all looked excited.

“Show us! Show us! Show us!” they all began to chant. So I tried to open my wings and found that they forgot to take off the duck tape so I asked a girl next to me to take it off. Once they did I opened my wings and they all starred with opened mouths.
