Tobias p.o.v:
For two weeks after Tris's death I've been avoiding people. Christiana leaves me food on my bed in the dormitory every day. Even though Christiana brings in the food, I don't feel like eating. In fact, I don't feel like doing anything. I just wanted to be alone.
One day after everyone went to breakfast I went back to the dormitory. Christiana followed me into the dormitory after wandering the halls late at night. I was about to leave when she told me to sit.
Christiana looked me straight on the eye. "Tobias, you can't just sulk around and not eat. You need to see people. What you're doing to yourself isn't healthy." I looked away from her. She isn't my mom. She doesn't know what is good for me. Particular Christiana. I finally looked at her and said, "Just leave me alone, Christiana. It's my life."
"Yeah, but your wasting it."
"Just stop getting up in my business." I walked out of the room and when I turned the corner I bumped into the same nurse from the day when I went to Tris's room and found her dead. She looked relieved to see me.
"Tobias, I was looking for you. I'm the nurse from two weeks ago in Tris's room when I informed you Tris was dead. My name is Emily. We think your girlfriend, Tris, may be unconscious."
