Ch. 49

Jessica p.o.v:
~~Time lapse one month later~~

I was walking down the hall from lunch when I saw Christiana go down a hallway pretty suspiciously.   I decided to follow her since I noticed she went down the apartment wing of the bureau.  Christiana and Tobias broke up a month ago cause Tobias caught her doing the dirty with another man. 

Christiana stops at a door and knocks and Tobias answers.  Why would she be going to see Tobias?  I thought he said he didn't want to see her ever?  This is weird.

I stayed there until I heard the door opened again and I saw Tobias and Christiana hugging each other.

"I had fun Tobias."  Man what a slut.

"Don't be a stranger Christiana." Tobias smiles at her.

"I won't and you take care.  See you both around some other time?"

Wait a second!  Christiana just said both.  There are two people living there.  Interesting.  Also, what's interesting is that they are goody-goody to each other when Tobias said he never wanted to see her face. 

I gotta tell David.  I make sure not to make too much noise while going to David's office.
"Yeah."  I heard Tobias say before I was too far away which makes it true.  There are two people living there.

But who?

I arrive at David's office and he's doing paperwork.  He ushered me to take a seat. 

"What's the matter Jessica?"

"I saw something peculiar that didn't seem right David."

David looks up from his paperwork with a curious expression.  "What do you mean peculiar?"

"You know about the break up between Tobias and Christiana?"

"Yeah.  I mean who doesn't it spread across the whole bureau from happened in the cafeteria that day."

"Yeah well I saw Tobias and Christiana all buddy buddy today outside Tobias' apartment."

"Interesting."

"That's not all.  When they were exchanging goodbyes  Christiana said 'I'll see you both around sometime.'"

"And then Tobias confirmed my thoughts that there are two people living there.  David something's up."

"I agree something is up because I have been giving those two a careful eye.  I don't believe their bullshit."

"David!"

"Think about it."  I started to think about it and I guess it kinda made sense how all of a sudden I believe them then they break up.  "Well want to see what I found?"

"Sure."  I looked through David's work and it's incredible.  He has important things written down of what Tobias or Christiana does.  Then something pops out of all the information.  The clinic Tobias goes to every week.

"Do you know who Tobias is going to see every week at the clinic?"

"No, but we can check.  I didn't do that yet.  Thanks Jessica."
