Ch. 29

Tobias p.o.v:
When I woke up the next morning, I kept my eyes closed because I didn't want to get up just yet.

I want to delay as much time as possible because as soon as Tris is awake I'm going to have find a way to tell her.

I scared of what her reaction might be. God she's going to hate me after I tell her.

I decided to open my eyes because it's not like I'm going to go back to sleep. When I open my eyes, I look over at Tris. When I see she's still sleeping peacefully, it gives me relief because then I would have to tell her that much quicker. On the other hand, I feel guilty at seeing her and Tris not knowing what has happened yesterday. I wanted to tell her yesterday right after Christiana left, but seeing her happy again and us getting along again made me have second thoughts. I didn't want to ruin it for her. I mean we just got back together and if I told Tris about what happened yesterday at that moment, Tris could be mad at me and not even want to look at me. She might even be mad at Christiana too. I just decided to wait for the next day because to be honest I wanted to be happy with her at this moment and enjoy it.

I look at her face and she looks so peaceful and relaxed sleeping. She is so beautiful. I love her which is why it's going to kill me at her reaction to what I have to say to her. Today is going to hell for the both of us. Mostly hell for my Tris. God she doesn't deserve this. If that bitch didn't have to make me prove about me getting over Tris and dating Christiana this would never happen in the first place.

Something about her just makes me feel alert. I can't think of it and this is bugging me.

I look back at Tris who snuggled close to my chest with my arms wrapped around her. Tris mumbles something in her sleep. I smile at her. God she's so cute.

Tris kisses my stubble and I look down to see she's awake, since her eyes are fluttering open.

I smile down at her.  It's now or never. "Good morning, Tris."

She smiles up at me before fully opening her eyes. "Good morning to you too, handsome." Tris leans in and kisses me. I kiss her back and tangle my fingers in her hair. Tris climbs on top of me and before we could go any further I pull away from Tris. Tris places her forehead against mine and we're breathing heavy.

"Tris I need to tell you something." I tell her.

Tris gets off of me and sits besides me. She looks back at me with a concern face. "Ok. Tobias, what is it?"

I took a deep breath. "Tris, Christiana kissed me." I wait for a reaction from her but so far there is none.

"WHAT?!"

I fell off the bed from her screaming. When I got up I looked at Tris and I saw a sight I didn't want to see. Tris is hurt and crying. She's probably mad at me again.

"Just let me explain."

Tris is taking deep breaths before answering me. "Fine."

"I was walking to the dorms to find Christiana, so she could talk to you about our situation."  I paused seeing if she was following me. Tris nods her head in understanding.

"When I reached the dorm, I explained to Christiana that you weren't talking and I was getting worried. She finished eating and then headed towards the apartment." I took a deep breath before continuing. "Then there-".
