Ch. 40

Tris p.o.v:
~~Three days later~~
Today is my appointment and Tobias is going to come with me today. Last time he didn't come with me, but if he did he would've been happy because of what happened in the appointment. I told him about the appointment and I loved seeing his reaction to the news.

Tobias is still asleep so with my thoughts of Tobias and the appointment, I turn around towards Tobias and place my head on Tobias' chest. 

These past six days has helped us build our relationship back up to where it used to be. 

Tobias stirs awake and I look up to see him smiling down at me.  "Hey beautiful."

"Hey handsome."  Tobias runs his fingers through my hair. 

"What were you thinking about?"

"How our relationship is back to where it was before and I'm so happy we are back on ground together.  Also, I was thinking of my appointment and how you're coming with me this time.  And when I told you about my last appointment, I loved seeing your expression."

"I was overjoyed."

"I know you were."

"I'm happy things are finally getting better for us."

"Me too."

I kiss him and Tobias brings me closer to his chest.  Tobias kisses me back and I bring my hands to his neck putting my fingers in his hair.  We kiss for a while then we break apart for air.

"I love you, Tris."

"I love you too, Tobias." We stay like that for a while just holding and being close to each other. I am cuddled next to his side with my head on his chest.

Fifteen minutes later, Tobias sighs and I look up at him. "We should probably get ready."

I sigh before getting up from the bed then heading towards the closet. We get ready for the appointment and head down to the kitchen. Tobias makes something for breakfast and we sit down to eat. Once we're done eating, we head out the door to the clinic.

When we arrived at the appointment, Tobias checks me in and we go sit down. I grab Tobias' hand and intertwine our fingers together. Tobias looks over at me and smiles.

"I'm glad your here with me today Tobias."

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

"That's good to hear."

"Unless it requires me to be. Like making bitches mind their own business." Tobias whispers the last part and I laugh which makes Tobias smile.

"I love you, Tobias."

"I love you too, Tris." I lean to kiss him and Tobias keeps a hand on my neck to keep me there. We kiss for about a couple minutes before we are interrupted by Valerie.

We break apart and look towards her direction. She's standing there waiting patiently, but also there seems to be a sense of urgency behind her stance.

I press my forehead against his while Tobias plays with my hair. I love it when he plays with my hair because it relaxes me.
