Ch. 38

Tris p.o.v:
I woke up in Tobias' arms which haven't happened in a while. I look at his sleeping form and I smile. Today is the day that Tobias is going to make up to me for not being there for me. For making me feel like he doesn't love me anymore. I wonder what he has planned for us today.

I press kisses to his chest then going up until I reach his lips. I'm kissing his lips without a response until I feel his lips turn into a smile. I'm about to pull away when his hand reaches for my neck keeping me there and kissing me back.

When we pull away, you would've never thought that we were the happiest couple in the world, but instead a couple currently having a problem in their relationship.

"Good morning, babe."

"Good morning, Tobias."

"Are you ready for today?"

"Yeah. Today better be very good."

"Oh, you won't be disappointed." Tobias leans down to give me another kis on the lips.

"So what's first on our agenda today?"

"It'll be coming soon."

"Coming soon? What do you mean?" Tobias laughs at me and I get more confused. Not long after, we hear a knock and Tobias gets up to answer who it is. A few minutes later, Tobias comes back with food.

"If this is your way of making up to me it's really not working. We eat in bed a lot because of my condition."

"You know, Tris, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Same goes for food." I roll my eyes at him even though I know it's true. Tobias has placed a stand up tray over my stomach so we can eat on the bed.

When Tobias pulls out the food, I couldn't believe the sight in front of me. My mouth was watering from amount the food. There was pancakes, hash browns, sausage, banana, muffins, and a milk carton. I haven't had this much in a while. When Tobias brings me food from the cafeteria, he doesn't have this much and this is just for me. I look over and see Tobias has the same amount of food.

"Tobias, it's amazing. How did you manage to get this?"

"I called Emily and she managed to pull a few strings. After all she loves the both of us." Tobias finishes with a peck of my cheek and I laugh. We dig into our food and let me tell you it was delicious.

I look over at Tobias and I smile.  We watch a movie and I cuddle next to him the entire movie.

"Tris lets go to the living room."

"Ok." We have been in the living room all morning, but I have enjoyed it. I walked to the living with Tobias. I'm getting better to the point where I don't need the crutches to help me walk. Sometimes I lose my balance, but I think that's because I'm still not strong enough yet.

Tobias had me sit on the couch then he heads to the kitchen. "Tobias, what are you doing?"

"Going to the kitchen to make lunch." I smile and look at the time. 12:00. Damn. Time goes by fast when your talking and having fun.

"So Tris, enjoying your day so far?"

I look in the kitchen and see Tobias at the stove. Tobias is trying really hard today and I love him for it. I also feel like he's doing a little too much. I mean all he had to do was do a little something and not all this. Although, I love the effort and plus I get to enjoy the day with him.
