Ch. 15

Tobias p.o.v:
I wake up and see Tris in my arms. I smile remembering yesterday. Tris is finally out of the coma and we can begin our lives together.

Those four weeks were painful in every way possible to me. 

I sit here watching Tris's features while she sleeps.  She looks so peaceful while she sleeps.  I try not to think about of how Tris looked when she was in a coma. 

~20 minutes later~

Tris opens eyes and looks up at me.  She stares up at me with her gray-blue eyes.  "Good morning beautiful." She gives me that beautiful smile of hers.

"Good morning Tobias." Tris replies.

I hear her stomach growl.  Tris looks at her stomach then back at me.  I smile at her.  "Yesterday we didn't get you  food did we?" 

"No duh. And it's not funny Tobias."

"I'm not laughing." I let out a slight chuckle. Tris slaps my chest since she was probably irritated at me. "Okay I'll call Valerie.  She'll get you some food."

"Tobias, Valerie-" I don't let her finish her sentence because I press my finger to her lips. 
"Tris I know what you're going to say and the answer is no.  I'm staying right here with you.  I don't want to take any chances of anything bad happening to you if I left you alone."

"Tobias I'm fine.  I appreciate you being concern about me.  But I don't want you depending on Valerie all the time." 

Tris had placed her hand on my cheek.  I can't believe what she's saying. "Tris, you just got out of a coma and can't do a lot of things without help.  I just want to protect you Tris."  I touched my forehead to hers.  "I don't want to lose you again."  A tear slowly came down my face. I felt her gentle fingers wipe away my tears. 

She grabbed my chin so I looked into her eyes.  "Tobias listen to me."  Tris said to me sternly.  "You're not going to lose me again.  It was fate that brought us together.  It was fate that gave us a second chance together." 

I smiled at her.  Tris always knows what to say to me.  This is one of the reasons why I love her.  I leaned in to kiss to her with all the passion and love I have for her.  She kisses back with the same amount of force and it turns into a full out make out session.  When we pulled apart we looked into each other's eyes and smiled.
"I love you, Tris." 
"I love you too, Tobias."
"I'll go call Valerie then." I got up from the couch and called Valerie.  Once I got done with Valerie I walked back to Tris. 

"Tris I know that's not what you wanted, but Emily and Valerie said we could go to them if we needed them."  I tell while running my hand through her hair. 

"I know.  It's just we never needed to go to someone for help.  We did everything on our own."

"Things are different now.  Tris you know it's not bad to go to someone for help, you know."

"Yeah, I know."  We decide to cuddle while we wait for Valerie with the food.

I heard a knock on the door.  I went to open the and it was Valerie with the food.  I gave her a smile which she returned. 

"Thank you Valerie."  I noticed she wasn't in uniform.  I was about to ask her about that when she spoke.

"It was no problem."  She must've noticed me looking  at her questionably since she gave me a knowing smile.   "Oh, if you're wondering why I'm not in uniform, it's because I didn't want the chance of getting caught going somewhere that was considered suspicious for a nurse.  Expectaully since I was going to the living potion of the bureau.    So I changed into different clothes so I wouldn't be suspicious."
