Ch. 39

Tris p.o.v:
I wake up in Tobias' arms the next morning and I smile because I know everything is going to be okay between us. Yesterday proved that even though we are going to have struggles our love for each other can conquer it.

I reach up and touch the necklace that Tobias got me yesterday. This necklace means so much to me so I will cherish it forever.

"Tris you awake?"

I turn around and see Tobias awake.  He's probably been staring at me for a while if I know Tobias.  I love this man. 

"Yeah.  I have been up for a while." 

"You okay?"  Tobias says looking concerned and I place a hand on his cheek.

"I'm fine, Tobias.  I was just thinking about yesterday and just admiring the necklace you got me."

"So you really like the necklace?  And what about yesterday?" 

I look up at him and smile before saying, "Yeah. I love it Tobias.  It means so much to me and I will treasure it forever."

I see Tobias' face lit up and he brings a hand to my cheek.  He leans down and kisses me briefly. 

"I'm happy you like the necklace Tris."  Tobias leans down again and presses his lips against mine.  I kiss him back and guide my hand to his neck to deepen the kiss. 

After a few minutes we pull away and Tobias says, "And yesterday?"

"I loved spending time with you and how you are just amazing.  I love everything that happened yesterday.  I especially love the night and how you knew just what I needed."

"So what I am hearing is that you loved everything?"

"Yes."

"I enjoyed spending the day with you too."  Tobias kisses my cheek before he brings his lips to my mouth.  The kiss lasted only a few seconds before he pulled apart and said, "I am happy that you enjoyed yesterday because it was a lot to plan in such little time.  Especially the dinner, the massage, and everything."

I roll my eyes at Tobias and slap his chest.  "Come on Tobias.  You don't have to make yourself look good.  We both know that all I wanted was to be with you."

"Yeah and we both know that I'm awesome at what I do."

"Oh yeah and what's that?"  I ask Tobias with a smirk on my face while leaning my head closer to his.

"Making my baby happy."  Tobias says with a smirk while he also leans his head closer to mine. 

"That's for damn sure."  I murmur and our lips brush against one another.  Our lips collide in a slow but passionate kiss.  I climb onto Tobias and he wraps his arms around my waist.  My fingers go into his hair playing with it while we continue to kiss. 

I'm the one to pull away first and Tobias leans forward for more.  I rest my forehead against his and I stare down into his eyes. 

"I love you, Tobias."

"I love you too, Tris."  Tobias pecks my lips before saying, "Please don't doubt my love ever again."
