Tris p.o.v:
I started to stir awake after what felt like hours.  I let out a moan probably letting people in the room know that I'm awake now.  When I opened my eyes, I noticed I was still on the bed in the room we preformed the surgery, not too long ago.

I feel someone squeeze my hand.  I turn my head and see that it's Tobias that squeezed my hand.  I  give Tobias a smile and Tobias returns the gesture by smiling back at me.  Tobias brings my hand up to his lips to kiss it.

"Hey."  My voice comes out weakly.

"Hey."  He brings his other hand to touch my cheek and runs his thumb over my cheek.  "You're going to be okay, Tris."  Tobias leans down and pecks my lips.

I breath out a sigh of relief then I close my eyes for a couple minutes, before I hear footsteps coming near me.  I open my eyes to find Emily standing right beside Tobias.

"Tris, the surgery was done successfully.  Although, you will need to recover from the surgery.  The recovery will take three to four weeks.  To be recover fully, you must go to proper therapy at the most two times each week."

"Ok. Can we meet on Tuesday and Saturday?"  I asked Emily.

"Yeah that's fine, Tris."  Emily looked back at her clipboard and wrote something down.  "So next Tuesday is your next appointment."

"Ok see you then."  I was about to signal to Tobias for us to go but then he turned to Emily.

"Emily are there any precautions we need to consider?"  Tobias asks Emily with a serious expression on his face.

"Yes.  Thank you for asking Tobias because I forgot to mention that."  She looked at both of us, well mostly me, before continuing.  "Tris you need to keep doing what you were doing before the surgery.  I want you to still use the crutches to help strengthen your legs.  This is if you are walking by yourself, otherwise, I would advise you to have Tobias by your side for assistance.  Do you understand Tris?"

So basically I still can't to do things myself. Although, I can't walk yet, it's going to be all worth it when I am fully recovered.  Tobias and I could get our lives back on track.

"Yeah, I understand Emily."  I give her a smile making sure she understands that I understand.

She turns to Tobias once she finally sees that I am not lying.  "Do you understand Tobias?"

"Yes I do.  Thank you for that."

"No problem."  Emily says and laughs a little bit.  "Although, you are the one that brought it up.  So I guess I should be thanking you.  Now you have to be very careful these next couple of weeks."

Tobias and I look at each other and seem to come to an understanding with eye contact.  Tobias lifts me up from the bed from my armpits.  When I am standing on the ground Tobias reaches over to get my crutches which were set right beside where he sat.  We about to leave when Emily stops us.

"Oh, I wanted to say one last thing before you go.  Tris don't walk too much today.  I advice you to stay in bed since you just had surgery.  I want you to get plenty of sleep these few weeks, as well.  Sleeping will also help your recovery and heal the nerves completely.  Also, every four hours please apply ointment on your stitches.  When you apply new ointment, I want you to put a new bandage on."
