I make it to Loguetown in 3 and a half days. And Smoker was gone. Off to find some pirate.

On the Grand-Line.

The Grand flippin' Line!

And guess who they want to go out to find him and bring him back.
Me. Valdis Nyx. This 22 year old with limited combat experiences, and a hatred for anything Neko related, but then again, the name 'Neko Nyx' stuck when I joined the Marines, blame Garp's 'gift' . . Now there sending me out to the Grand-Line.

Wanna here the best part?
I'm going solo. Complete alone. They couldn't spare another soul to help me on my journey.
Now here I am, heading toward this huge mountain I'm supposed to go up.

Yeah, that's what I said, up. . .

The small marine boat, stoacked to the brim, will be smashed to smithereens if I try this. As a Marine Commodore, I should really know better than to try this.
But then again, look where I'm heading, the strong current pulling me forward quickly.
I spring into action, grabbing a rope, pulling at the sails, only seconds away from the mountains entrance, I pull back, the sails billowing, I was being dragged forward, my booted feet skidding across the wooden floors of the ship, teeth gritted, eyes shut.

My hoodie flew off in seconds from the powerful gusts of wind, aimed straight at my face, the rope burning my hands.

Then nothing.

Just wind in my face and the sound of the ocean hitting the boat.
I did it! I was on my way to the Grand-Line!!
I sail forward, finding company with the voices inside my head.
They had quite the things to say. . . I stand in the crow's nest, the wind playing games with my hair, having inward conversations, that weren't going all that well.

You need to get a level head on your shoulders, find your brothers.

I have a very level head thank you very much! Who are you to judge!

Technically, I am you and you am I. So you're judging yourself. Rather harshly at that...

That makes no sense.

I know.

Ha ha, even if I do find Ace and Luffy, what then I am-

You're forgetting one.

No, I am not, as I was saying, I am-

Sabo.

The word hits me with the force of a cannon, my hands grip the railing of the crow's nest until my knuckles go as white as my face.

Sabo isn't.....around....anymore.

You're lying to me and yourself.

I haven't done anything! Sabo is dead....okay! He's dead!

I say the last line out loud, the voice silent, I wait for it to respond, but I guess it didn't have anything else to say. . .

I then process what I had said.

I'd never spoken those words. In my mind, or upon my lips. Never....
They tasted so sour, yet they felt like relief and lies all at once. It was an odd sensation.
Maybe, it was Sabo's soul releasing itself from my being.

But part of me yelled out 'LIES!'
Which to believe, me or me.. . .

An odd battle.
But perhaps, it's my most difficult yet.

I look at the odd little globe labeled as a 'Log Post'. Theoretically, it's supposed to help me from getting lost.
Ha. Ha. Ha.
But I have to try. It's my job, something I can't do anything about, it was just given to me. Now I have to just suck it up and do it.
And, I know Ace sails the Grand-Line. I have my way with the Marine Confidential Files. Luffy, was still unknown, but not for long... not for long... I believe in him, he can do it.

Until then.

I hear a loud blood curdling scream and turn quickly, drawing my weapon, katana, and readying myself defensively.

"Humans..." She mutters, "Disgraceful, stupid species."

The girl, if she is that, she has the hourglass figure of a busty female anyway, stands, dusting off her small pink dress, her clevage busting over, she tilts her ears back, furrowing her eyebrows, "What are you supposed to be?" She says haughtily, "A wanna be feline?" She flicks her long white tail, a pink bow at the end. I stare, unable to move, trying to focus on the neko girl.

I finally come to my senses, "State your name!" I say in my strongest official tone.
"Why should I do anything for you?" She snaps, flipping her white hair, her green eyes sharp, with long eyelashes.
"Because you stand before a Marine Commodore!" I say, my sword pointed at her, "Now, state your name, or I will have to place you under ar-"
She tackles me, her hands like a cat's, claws razor sharp, her ears pushed back against her head, her eyes now angry, "Who. Are. You. To. Tell. Me. What. To. Do," She hisses, "Human."

My hood falls off, my eyes and face revealed. She goes wide eyed, crawling backwards, quickly popping into a small white kitten,, she looked terrified, her snarky attitude gone.

"Who are you?" She mews quietly, her tail curled around her small body.
"I asked you the same question." I say, eyes half open, unamused, my katana no longer raised defensively.
"Kiti." She said, bursting into a female form once again, this time in a low bow. "I ate the ningen ningen no mi fruit."
I nod, "Continue. . ." My hand gesturing her to go on forward with her story.
"I ate it, and became human." She said this in more of an angry hiss speaking the word 'human' with disgust, "But, it has it's advantages, I can change into a full human form with an exception of my tail and ears, and I can turn any body part into a cat one. Including my entire being."
Her tail flicks back in forth, her long lashes shade her eyes, and her eyes were half open with a sort of smart alec flair.

"Now, address my question," She snaps, "Who are you?"
I stick out my chin, standing tall, katana pointed downward in front of me, stuck in the wood of the ship. "I am Valdis Nyx. Commodore in the Marines, sister, granddaughter, and a person with her own personal and very large armament.
The neko stares, one ear bent in the most innocent and adorable way.
"For a moment there I thought you were someone else. But you can't compare to her." She flicks her tail back and forth in her almost angry, but not quiet, sort of way, she steps forward gingerly, not making any sound, touching my chin she whispers, "With an acception of your features."

"Who are you talking about?" I question, and eyebrow up in confusion.
"Nothing!" She snaps, springing backwards, flicking her tail around her in an almost defencive way, her ears pushed back against her head.
I study her for a moment more than turn, moving away, sticking my katana back in its sheath. Maybe I should be more cautious, but she doesn't strike me as the dangerous type. Perhaps she'll go back to where ever she flew in to from.
I go into the storage area/kitchen/bedroom and lay down in my hammock, closing my eyes, the soothing rock of the deadly sea lulling me into a sleep.
