An Attempted Catnapping

We sail on and forward for the next few days, little occurred, Sha proved his loyalty very well... The day he was officially added to the crew as the doctor, a small gang of pirates decided to try and overtake our ship...
I was alerted after I had went to my room to do some daily routines and rituals when Hato ran into my room yelling like a little kid who'd had a nightmare. "CAPTAIN!! CAPTAIINN!!" He yelled, running up to me, his gun in his hand, his eyes terrified. "We have a slight problem on deck..."
I nod, and grab my katana, running out the door, and see a Sha and Kiti fighting hard.

Kiti was a tiger, growling and roaring, claws ripping cloth and flesh.
Sha was standing still, his arms not touching his lean blue body, slightly bending over, his shark like eyes darting back and forth as a small gang of pirates circled around him.
His razor sharp teeth flashed a noxious grin and the pirates began to slow, mouths hanging open, eyes swirling.
Then they stabbed themselves in the chest with their own weapons. His Kokoro Kokoro no mi fruit was working well. He was deadly... Mind control is a dangerous thing...

I wield my blade in a fighting pose. No mercy... They are trying to harm my crew... I must have no limits.

"Who's this? The captain's mistress?" Asks a man laughing with a shave days old smelling stale... like whiskey and sake.
"The captain." I say in my quiet accented tone.
"You are the captain?" He asked mockingly, a laughing tone in his voice.
"Aye." I say darkly, flicking my wrist.
Seconds later blood gushed everywhere, his arm lying on the ground, he screamed like a child, "SHE BARELY MOVED!!"
I flick my wrist again.
There went his opposing arm.
My face was dark and sprayed with blood.
"SHE'S A MONSTER!!" He cried.
I look up, my eyes flashing, angry and deadly.

Not a good mix if you ask me.

I flick my wrist for a third time.
His head went spinning off his shoulder, blood raining down on me.
I catch Sha's stare and give him a piercing look and he averts his eyes, laughing lightly.
"She's one hell of a girl.." He muttered, more of the pirates committing a deadly dark suicide.
I stare forward, holding my blood soaked katana, my face dark, a single blue orb flickering angrily from within the darkness.
I then continue to fight. Defending my ship, and my crew, with everything I have.
No one would notice the blood that mixed in with my tears.
I finish my battle and stand observing the messy blood bath, Sha and Hato standing on either sides of me, Sha having his sharp toothed grin, his ripped and mangled clothes that he tore himself covered in blood, and Hato looking extremely terrified, trembling, but not loosing all control, his gun smoking and he himself, blood soaked.

I then realize a single, most important factor.
"Where's Kiti?!" I say sharply, turning around to face my crew.
"I haven't seen her in awhile..." Said Hato, his voice cracking, he looked like he was about to cry.
"Oneechan was fighting with us... I saw her." Said Sha, for the first time since meeting him, I heard a slight bit of concern in his voice.
I took off, my eyes on fire.
I found bloody paw prints. Claw marks. Then the claw marks turned to small shoe prints. In struggle. Next to these prints were much larger ones. Boots...
This led to the railing of the ship.
In the distance a ship.
They had her.
They had Kiti.

My neko...
My first mate...
My nakama.

My mind setting changed, I ran to the wheel of my ship, and took control, my mind racing... Kiti... my Kiti... they had her.
"Captain?" Said Hato, his eyes had became more concerned than afraid as I gripped the wheel and tried not to think about what those men could be trying to do to my firstmate.
I stay in the same position until we got close enough to make contact with the boat. The deck was empty... I drew my sword and ran to the railing of my ship, my two crew members standing ready to fight behind me.
"Stay here." I say firmly, stepping up onto the railing, my expressions dead.
I board the strange ship silently.
I move in the shadows silently, my weapon ready to strike.
I heard gruff laughter echoing down a corridor.
Cautiously, I approach, my eyes darting around and I feel something brush past my arm.
I spin on my heels and look around, trying to find the object that brushed against me.
A soft giggle echoed through the hall.

Or so I thought...

No one was in the hall but me.
I walk forward, shaking off whatever I imagined that could've been.
The gruff laughter was growing in volume.
I was nearing a door with light pouring from the cracks in the door.
I peek through the doors circular window.
I see two men.
And a Neko girl.
Tied up and gagged on a table.

My anger boiled, eyes grew narrow and small.
The poor cat girl was red faced, her already skimpy clothes where sliding away, and her tail was being pulled at by one of the gruff men.
Her ears were pressed against her head, she whimpered louder and louder as he got rougher and rougher.
My eyes glint and my sword flies downward and the doorknob hits the ground with a clank and I kick open the door.
A distance giggle somewhere in the hall as I step inside.

Both men looking at me, at first surprised and angry, but slowly, odd smirks form on their faces.
I stand my ground, unwaveringly staring back.
"Well, well, well. Now what do we have here?" Says one man, he seemed to lean in.
"Seems this little girly's lost...." Said the other, the one who had been pulling my Kiti's tail, "Maybe we should... help.... Her out!"
They both chortled as the began to slowly approach me.
"I.... I request you return the girl to me. Immediately."
"Who's gonna make us?"
I close my eyes, and exhale slowly, "Me." I say, quiet yet loud.
They exchanged looks and scoff once more.
"That so?" Says one of the brutes.
I say nothing, looking at Kiti for a moment, her blue eyes looking at me wildly, fear had leaked into them.
I look back at the men, slowly approaching with swords.
"Let's make this simple girly..." Said one, his face dark, smirk evil, words like poison.
He attacked.

I released my rage.

My sword sliced through the air like a ship on the sea with a light breeze.
With ease and efficiency.
Blood sprayed, screams echoed throughout the ship.
I worked my 'magic'.
Tears burned my eyes.
I refused to let them fall.
I must be the cause of the death of these two.
A final movement of the arm and the two collapsed. The last moments of their lives drenched with pain.
Crimson liquids covered the room.
I walked silently over to Kiti and cut her ropes and un-gaged her.
"Oh my god Nyx cou-" She stopped mid word, looking at my blood splattered face.

My emotions of rage, mournful, misery.
The deaths I've caused and will cause.
My brothers.
Law.
My past.
My future.
They are all catching up to me. I'm finally feeling the things I should've felt a long time ago.
But I'm a freak.
A monster.
Nothing's normal about me.
And I'm sick of it.

I turn and leave the room, my strides long and powerful for someone so small.
I turn the corner of the ship and run directly into a cloaked figure.
A smile glistened from beneath the hood.
A smile that shall always haunt me.
"Hello Nyx." Whispered a dark, dangerous, slightly melancholy, feminine voice
She grabbed my arm, the grin widening.

And we disappeared.
