"Why, may I inquire, have you decided to stop by my ship, Sir-" I begin, only to be cut off by this strange fish-man like creature,
"Ah," He said, holding up a long fingered blue hand, "Pardon, but could you please reference to me as Sha, no need for such formalities, that is a thing I do not believe in."
This odd man was earning more and more approval by the moment.
"But of course, and you are more than welcomed to call me Valdis. Nothing more, nothing less."
He grinned, bowing slightly, "But of course. Please continue,"
"Sha, may I ask you, why have you decided to stop here on my ship? Are you in need of food or rest? Perhaps some medical attention?"
"No, Valdis, not at all," His grin deepening, a slight chuckle invading his tone, "The reason of my arrival, is that I have a request for you."
I raise an eyebrow, yet my small grin does not disappear. "And that request may be?"

"Valdis Nyx," He said, kneeling in front of me in a bow, "Allow me to serve you. As your loyal crew member, as your doctor."
He looked up, him eyes sparkling, his smirk was warm, yet, there was something odd about it.
I look at him, kneeling in front of me (yet he was so tall even kneeling he reached my torso) my mouth in a slight 'o', then in slowly turned into a smirk-smile of its own.

"A doctor, eh?" I say, my voice not faltering into laughter as I wanted it, "There is an opening..."
"Oh?" He said when I didn't continue.
"Prove yourself worth, Sha... And I'll do more than consider."
I'd already made up my mind. He was apart of my crew three minutes ago. But I was playing hard-headed-smart-ass after all...
I turned on heal my back facing him and yelled, "KITI!" In my most captain-like tone.
A few moments later, the neko-girl was standing in front of me, eyes half closed, hand on one hip, and her left ear bent.
"Yes, captain?" She said her voice seeping 'smart ass'.
"Please escort our new guest to a spare room, and allow him access to anything having a connection in the medical reference."
"Ooh," She said, dripping with sarcasm, "Big words."
"Sha," I said, turning back to the man now towering over me, "Please allow the assistance of my wonderful first mate, Kiti."
"Miss," He said, bowing once more, taking Kiti's hand and placing a light kiss on it, causing the cat girl to go a bit pink, and her ears to perk up a bit.
I smile, then turn, and return to the place in which I stood before Sha's appearance.

I grip the wheel of my ship, staring off into the swirly pink, purple and orange clouds as the sun dipped into the ocean.
My mind wandered away from me, thinking of my brothers.
All three of them.
Missing them, all of them, wondering what they could be doing at this given time wherever they may be. In this world, or not.
