A DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW....

"OIIII!!!" Cries out an overly excited captain, "MIKI!!!"
The blue haired girl turn, a bandana up around her face, covering her mouth. "Yes, Luffy?" She said pleasantly, not at all annoyed with the slightly obnoxious boy.
"SPAR ME NEXTTTTT!!!" He cried, sitting on the head of the Going Merry.
"Ok!" Says the girl ducking the blades of a certain marimo with ease.
She in return of his attack, uses her single sword to pin him against the main mast, ducking two of three swords aimed at her petite body.
"FACE IT ZORO!!!" Cries the straw hat wearing boy, "YOU LOST!!"
"I think he's right.." Said the girl with a giggle in her tone.
Roronoa Zoro huffed, putting his swords away, went to go pout.
"YOU LOST AGAIN, SHISHISHI!!" Laughed his captain, causing him to scowl even more so.
"Ohh, Miki-chwan~" Cried the cook, hearts for eyes as he held a tray of colorful drinks, "Here's a drink I made especially for you~" He said, blushing with a grin.
"Thank you Sanji-kun." She said taking it lowering her bandana to grin at the cook before taking a sip, causing him to melt on the spot.
"Your welcome, Miki-chwan!" He cried, hearts surrounding him.

Suddenly, a rubbery fist went flying towards Miki, causing the drink to go flying into the air.
Quick reflexes caused the small girl to catch it without spilling a drop, placing it back on Sanji's tray, she pulled her bandana back up.
"You ready, Luffy?" She said, her eyes smiling, her sword ready.
"YEAH!" Cried the captain, slamming his fist into his palm, his hat casted safely aside.
The girl has a twinkle in her big innocent brown eyes as she begins to battle Straw Hat Luffy.

ANOTHER VIEW...

His raven black hair beats around in the wind as he sails forward at incredible speeds, his flames powering his small boat.
He knew precisely where he was going.

It was the day.
On this day, every single year, without fail, she would be on a certain island, at a certain bar, talking to no one, drinking nothing, head down, silent and still, sitting at the far end of the bar.
Almost invisible.
He was approaching the island, only a few more minutes...
He docked his boat, adjust his hat, a smile playing on his lips.

He opened the doors to the bar, and stepped into the dim setting, walking towards the same place where she's always chosen to sit, all these years... one of the few things she can choose all on her own.
But she was there.
Small face, big violet eyes, pink-red hair pulled back in an almost flawless bun, her lips a pale natural tone, no one would be able to tell the girls real, odd, but real, lip tone.

She was like an angel. But she was an angel with a twist.
She had abilities unlike no other.
She was dangerous.
She was deadly.
She was a trained killer.

He sat down next to the assassin, and she looked up and a small grin appearing on her face, "Ace..." She said quietly, "I've missed you!" She says an adorable pink tone on her cheeks as she hugged the shirtless pirate around the neck, who smiled returning the girl's affection.
"I've missed you too, Itami." He whispered into the girl's ear, smiling as she hugged him tightly.
The girls closed eyes leaked tears as she hugged him.

But what he doesn't know won't hurt him.
Perhaps... what he happens to be holding will.

He and the pink haired soft eyed deadly girl broke their embrace.
"How've you been?" She asks, sitting facing the pirate, eyes sparkling with the remains of tears that she never shed.
"I've been okay..." He said, holding both of her hands gently, not knowing the next time he'd be able to. "I still haven't found that bastard... but I did find someone else!" He said, the corners of his lips, turning up.
"Who?" Said the girl softly, her eyes smiling, along with the tiny grin on her lips.
"A certain big sister of mine..."
"You saw Nyx?" Asked the girl happy for her friend, her smile growing a little bigger.
"Yup... And she's a marine." He continued, causing purple eyes to go wide.
"A marine? Really?" She asked in her excited quiet tone,
He nodded, and continued, talking of how he also encountered his younger brother and how he's a captain of his own crew, the girl listened closely, grinning and frowning and commenting at all the right moments and times.

Removing herself out of her own life, and giving herself a new role in his.
