Unexpected Meet n' Greets in Alabastia

A few days past, and we arrive in Alabastia.

Ace and I go our separate ways, agreeing to meet up later in a small town nearby.
There seemed to be an odd tension on the island, but I couldn't place it. But, I heard whispers here and there, something about an odd band of pirates, and I could only then conclude that these whispers were about my little brother.
My head swam, my long strides, head down, and eyes focused on some unidentified speck on my shoe.
It wouldn't work.
It couldn't work. . .
But the scary thing was, I wanted it to work. . .

Kiti strided next to me. Complaining. As usual. But I had tuned her out fifteen minutes ago, my head was swimming with idea, debating, and trying to come to some conclusion.
But it kept averting from the most reasonable one.
Stay a marine, keep leading this controlled, militarized, routine based, life. Full of do this, kill him, and find that.
The unreasonable one, on the other hand, was to stop following these controlled ways and become a p-
"VALDIS MOVE!!!" Yelled Kiti, jumping back wide eyed, just as a kid mowed me over on his way into a nearby restaurant.
My face lodged in the dirt, I try to push myself up, in the process of getting to Kiti to stop her rageful curses.
But when I looked to the place where she stood before, she was already gone.
I take off, sprinting, trying to stop her from clawing the kid to shreds, but instead, when I got inside the restaurant there was several holes in several walls, and it was completely empty with the exception of a few people...

Walking towards me, a shirtless guy I could only address as my little brother, a cat eared girl looking confused, and the certain Marine I was out to find.
Then in the matter of moments, Ace's face was slammed into the ground by Smoker, just as his eyes made contact with a person in a hat I hadn't taken note of before.
In his signature straw hat, my youngest brother stuffs his face, while being yelled at by Smoker, not caring, or knowing who he was...

Probably both.
I stood stunned for a few moments, my surprised expression melting into a grin as Luffy stuffs the remainders of his meal into his mouth, I yell, "OIII LUF-"
But then, for the second time that day, I was complete ran over by my youngest brother.
Then as I try to push myself up, Ace crushed me as well.

Then Kiti did one of the oddest, yet, amazing things she's ever done.

Grabbing my hand she pulls me to my feet, and within second, I was in the shape and form of a cheetah.
"Run Nyx." She says simply, and I instantly understand, and with a few quick strides I was nothing but a streak of orange, yellow, and black.
My strides were long, the wind whistles through my fur, the sun warms my back, screams of terror rip from passerby as I advance on my prey.
I lost track of Ace, and Luffy bounded up a building after clashing with a marine woman I was sure I knew, but I just couldn't place the name, she shrieks as I stop abruptly, my front paws going up into the air in front of her, as I let my paws fall, I accidently leave three slits in her cheek, blood dripping from my long pearly ungues.

Then I was engulfed in smoke.

I battle my way through it, batting my paws in the air, roaring as the smoke stung my eyes and burnt my lungs, but by the time it was gone, I was long behind my brother and the marine. I began bounding down the street in the direction Luffy and Smoker were headed, when suddenly, in a flash of red, my little brother sped past me in the opposite direction, I skid, trying to stop myself, making a 'U' turn right as I fought through the Marine's smoke for the second time, but I was well experienced by the second time.

I squeezed my eyes shut and held by breath, then ran, once the smoke was behind me, I saw fire flying at me, and my brother's, faces, and to help the situation, Kiti's cat powers she loaned me was beginning to wear off, leaving me as a leopard-human-thing. I follow Luffy for a few moments, and when I was close enough, and I could feel Kiti's powers diminishing, I attack.
I lunge, pouncing on Luffy, sending us tumbling off, a few yards from where we were before, in front of people who stare wide eyed at us, then they look up, and down, and so on for a few moments, a loud explosion sounds nearby, and I feel the ripple of heat, signifying it was Ace's doings. Luffy yells from beneath me, as the lingering bits of power I'd received from Kiti dissolve, leaving me in an complete human body, lying on Luffy's back, legs sore.

He pushes me off of him and I hit the sand with a slight moan, my cloak hiding my face, and most of my body, Luffy then does the intelligent thing and yells, "WHO ARE YOU?!"

I whisper, still out of breath. "Luffy. Could you please, for once in your life, be a little more  quiet?"
I open one eye, a small smile on my lips, while my little brother sat stunned in front of me."Nyx?" He whispers, I could only see his shoes, but from the tone of his voice I could tell he was smiling.
"Hi." I say, sitting up, pulling down the hood of my cloak, a male voice saying something about me being a woman, a few other whispers spread around.
"I did it!" Cried Luffy grinning, proud, "Now, you have to watch over Ace AND ME!!"
I grin back, "I know Luffy, I'm very proud."
Then out of the blue, another brother decides to stop by.
"ACE!!" Cries Luffy, grinning.
A girl finally then decides to question the current happenings, "Luffy? Who are these two?"
I turn, bowing, "Valdis Nyx. Marine." I say, holding back my cloak so they could see my uniform, "Sister to Portgas D Ace and Monkey D Luffy, also known as, Fire Fist Ace and Straw Hat Luffy, and in my case, Little Brother. To the both of them."
All of their jaws drop as Luffy nods vigorously, grinning widely and Ace puts an arm around Luffy and I's shoulder, "Yup, Big Sis summed it up well."
The orange haired girl, who seemed to be in charge of the group, said, "If you three are sibling's, how come you don't share a last name, unless of course, you're married, but it still doesn't explain those two." She said gesturing to me at 'married' in which I shrivel my nose, but fight to stay polite, meanwhile Luffy and Ace double over laughing at the mere thought of me being in a romance.

"Not at all, ma'am." I say, after glaring at Ace and Luffy, "You see, we share the bonds of siblings even if we don't share the blood."
She nods, but doesn't miss a beat, "You choose to be a marine?"
"Yes. Someone has to keep an eye on them."
She nods, satisfied for the moment.
"OH OH OH!!" Yells Luffy, getting 'serious'. "YOU GUYS!! THIS IS MY CREW!" He paused then added, "AND V
"Your crew?!" Ace and I say in unison, but in completely different tones.
I bow again, "Pleased to meet you."
"The pleasures all mine!" Says a blond man grinning, suddenly at my side taking my hand and looking me in the eyes with a flirtatious tone in his voice.
Again, I battle to stay polite, while Ace cocks an eyebrow at the man, looking as unamused as I felt.

Luffy was too busy introducing his crew to notice.

There was a total of six crew members, plus and princess and her duck, which were Vivi and Carue.
A man with a long nose and sling shot was called Usopp, the woman who had questioned me was called Nami, a small reindeer-doctor with devil fruit powers that gave him the ability to talk was referred to as Chopper, the man trying to flirt with me was a cook addressed as Sanji and then a green haired swordsman called Zoro, who seemed to strike my curiosity most of all.

"Well, you all seem like good people!" I say with a smile, "Yeah, thanks for taking care of Luffy, we both know he can be a handful."Says Ace, giving both of our gratitude, in turn, the crew waves their hands, blowing it off as no biggie.
Then, my grin falters as a pain rips through me, I stumble, my hand going to my head, leaning over, I breath heavily.
"Are you alright?!" Cries Nami, rushing forward, while Ace places a hand on my shoulder, he too was questioning my health.
"I'm...okay...." I whisper trying to make the crowd around me break.
Then another burst of pain, causing me to cough, blood spraying from my lips, a small voice telling everyone to give me air, then a hoof on my arm, the same voice telling me to lye down.
"I swear...I'm..... okay." I whisper as blood drips from my lips, my eyes rolling back and I begin to fall, but I was in a world of black before I made contact with the sand.


Hia guys! I know I didn't follow the same plot as Oda wrote, but I had to edit it to make it fit my criteria... sorry, but I hope y'all enjoyed it anyway!!
