Chapter 96-Competition

Nathan Pov

As my brothers start talking among themselves, I looked around the club and see Emily sitting at the bar nursing a cocktail looking lost in thought. Sitting next to her is a woman with long blond hair talking to her. She is wearing a yellow strapless dress with a pink line pattern going across it and pink shoes. The woman leans over and whisper something in her ear. Emily nods her head, wipes her eyes, pays for her drink and walks away.

Leaning over to Kota, I spoke quietly "Did you all see that woman at the bar that was talking to Emily?"

"What woman?" he asked. I looked back at the bar and I swear I see Sang in the yellow and pink dress leaning up against it looking at us with disappointment and anger in her eyes. I leave my seat but by the time I get there she is gone.

"You alright Nat?" asked Luke as North, Si, and Kota look around the bar for a threat. I glance back to where she was standing and I see a heart on the bar napkin that is made out of water marks from a glass. My stomach sinks and I know deep down it was her.

Turning to Luke, I ask "Are you ready to go? I think I have had enough to drink."

"Yeah, let's go say goodbye to Alec and Roc."

Walking back into the VIP lounge, Luke spoke up "We are leaving. I am partied out. do you want to meet up for breakfast tomorrow?"

"That's fine. We are room 5-3. Just call us and we will meet you. Happy birthday Luke."

"Thanks Alec for all you did. I really enjoyed it."

"No Problem."

I looked for Emily as I left, but could not find her. We made it out to the party bus and the guys were talking and having a good time. I was thinking about what I saw. Sang with her at the bar. Maybe I have had too much to drink and I was on a sugar high.

We get to the hotel and I tell my brothers I am partied out and going to bed and I would see them tomorrow. In my room, I get undressed and head for the shower. While in the shower, my mind wanders back to seeing Emily and Sang at the bar and Emily looking sad and upset. I get out the shower, dry off, put on my pajama bottoms and get into bed.

My mind starts wondering about the letter Emily left, what she said about Sang and how North, Luke and Owen also said they saw her. How I thought I saw Peanut tonight crept into my mind.

Deciding not to thinking about it right now, I close my eyes hoping sleep will claim me soon to stop by wayward thoughts. The last image in my head before sleep took me was Sang's angry and disappointed face and I fall into a restless asleep.

Luke Pov

Yesterday was a dream come true. From the balloon ride, breakfast made by a professional chef, walking around my playroom and watching my family and friends having a ball.

Walking into the VIP Lounge with everyone there wishing me a happy birthday with a 5-tier white and blue birthday cake made me feel special. One one side of the lounge was a buffet of fried chicken wings, buffalo wings, house made pizza rolls and a taco/nacho bar. The bartender in the lounge made me birthday cake shots all night and there was nothing North could say about it.

It was surreal to have Jimmy and JT perform for me and then they chilled out with my brothers and I afterward. They left at midnight since they needed to get back to their wives. After they left, we headed to the dance floor and danced with hot women all night.

Then this morning, there was a breakfast basket outside my room with a note from Emily saying she was sorry she could not fix me breakfast yesterday so she made me breakfast this morning and for me to enjoy. I opened the basket and it was packed with chocolate chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, bacon, sliced fruit, OJ, milk, chocolate chips, homemade chocolate and caramel sauce, and whip cream. I think to myself Sugar really knows how to spoil me as I grab my things and pack my bag. I call my brothers, Alec and Roc over to my room so we could have breakfast together before they leave for camp.
