Chapter 28-Whats the Plan

Mr. Blackbourne Pov

I watch Emily walk down the hall and into her bedroom. As soon as the door closes, chaos erupts. North and Silas are talking in rapid Greek promising revenge on anyone who has hurt her. Kota, Nathan, Gabe and Luke are planning on how to get her to talk about her past. Sean looks concerned, and he looks like he is deciding if he should go check on her. Victor is silently looking at Emily's door, looking like it is taking all his power not to run in there and keep his anger in control. 

People think North is bad, but Victor is 10 times worse because he keeps it in and when it comes out, it comes out. He is the one you never see coming. I walk over to Victor as he pulls out his cell phone and opens the app for her camera in her bedroom. I lean over when he checks the bathroom camera. As he turns the volume up, we here her scream. Everyone stops mid sentence and crowds around Victor's phone. We see her curled up in the shower crying. I look at my family and see the same looks they gave Sang when she cried. I know from looking at them she is a part of this team no matter what. North booming voice breaks me from my internal thoughts.

"I think I should go check on her and take Doc with me. She could be hurt." says North as he starts to head down the hall.

"Mr. Taylor! You will not go back to her room tonight. None of us will. We are going over the schedule she sent, and coming up with a schedule so one of us will be with her at all times. Mr. Morgan, please close the app. We need to discuss our next step."

Victor takes one more look at Emily and closed the app.

"Gentlemen, let's think about how her life has changed from yesterday till today. The man who hurt her and did God only knows what to her was released from jail and is coming for her. She has nine guys that she just met yesterday invade her life and her personal space. She obviously trusts us since she has allowed us to stay over tonight due to the bad weather, but we need to get to know her. Not to mention her business she has to run and her life to live. We are here to protect her. That is our main goal."

"I forwarded you all the schedule she sent out. Please open them now so we can go over this." I watch as they open their phones and her calendar. Wednesday, she has a community meeting at 1-3 pm at the community center. This Friday she has a Comp visit to Regal. Saturday she has 2 after parties at The Spot. One in the VIP rooms and the other is at the club. Next week she has Academy training conference Monday-Thursday with formal Thursday evening. The week after that, she has two Valentine parties. One is casual and the other is street. Then Luke's Celebration."

"Oy, that's what I'm talking about. Free party?" Says Mr. Coleman.

"Can we all go to the Regal? I hear it's like The Spot only uptown instead of downtown." says Mr. Taylor Sr.

"We will ask her tomorrow and see what she says." states Mr. Lee.

"It has been a while since we've been to a club and new ones can be a hit or miss" says Sean.

"Yeah, but I bet for her, they will pull out all the stops. She does a lot of business, and she is getting well known in the area for her parties." says Mr. Morgan.

Getting back on track, I say "For the after parties, we will split up in two groups. Mr. Taylor Jr., Mr. Griffin, and Mr. Lee will be at the after party in the VIP Lounge. The rest of us will be at the club. Except for Mr. Coleman. You will be her personal assistant and stay with her. Under no circumstance is she to be alone. Am I understood, Mr. Coleman?"

"Yes."

"Good. I am sure she will be running between the two, and that way we can make sure no matter where she goes, one of us is there. Next week is the Academy Training so we will all be there anyway. Mr. Coleman, you are her assistant again. Do not let her leave your sight. She has to use the family bathroom, and you go in with her to make sure everything is where it should be. When you need a break, you will let one of us know and we will take your place."

"We will discuss with her tomorrow our plans, and get clarification as to the Comp at the Regal and the Valentine parties. We will also talk to her about her being by herself, and see how she feels about two of us staying the night with her until this is over."

"Tomorrow Mr. Griffin and Mr. Taylor will go with her to the community center." I lift my hand to stop the protest. "One of us will be with her the whole time. Tomorrow Sean will be at the hospital during the day, while Mr. Lee and myself talk to the Toma team and her parents to see if we can get anymore information so we know what we're dealing with. NO ONE is to pressure Emily to talk about anything. Is that understood?" I give them my look that means I mean business. "She will tell us when she is ready. My guess it will be sooner that later."

"I am willing and I will obey" is the response I get back.

"Very well, let's go to bed gentleman. We have a busy day tomorrow. We will meet up at my place tomorrow afternoon at 3 pm. If something changes, I will let you know. Let's clean up this area and the kitchen so we can go to bed."

As we all get up and start cleaning up, I just hope she tells us sooner than later. I have a feeling Emily is going to change us. I just hope it's for the better and not for the worse.
