Chapter 34-Breakfast With The Guys

Belly dance class was fun with my best girlfriends. It's our time together and I am so glad the guys, left so I could have some much needed girl time. With my girls moving away soon, we needed it. LaShae just accepted a job working at the top childrens' hospital in Pittsburgh in their clinical research department, and Chelsea was just promoted to VP of computer programing and Engineering at a computer company so she will be moving to New Orleans.

Our new costumes came and I handed them out before class was over. I looked at the clock and decided I will try mine on when I get home. I have to hurry home to get breakfast ready for the guys. I can shower and change when I get there. I still have on my dance clothes as I speed walk to my sunshine yellow Hybrid car, I see a piece of paper stuck to my window. Not having time to look at it, I toss it in my purse and get home.

I start cooking breakfast and as I pull the last cookie sheet of bacon from the oven I hear: "Something smells good Goddess." I turn around and Silas wraps his arms around me and gives a hug. I try to hug him back as much as I can with one hand. I don't want to get the tongs hear his shirt.

"Oy, I want a hug too Sunshine" Gabe demanded as he walked into the kitchen. He comes over and gave me a hug.

"I smell bacon and eggs." Luke said as he ran into the kitchen with Nathan right behind him yelling "Stay away from my stuffed toast. I get the first one."

Smiling I said, "Help yourself guys. I placed the food on the stove and plates, cups, and utensils on the kitchen bar. There is fruit salad in the fridge. I am going go change and then eat."

"Baby, you need to eat. You have been up and active for over two hours. Your body needs the fuel." North stated.

"I will eat, I just want to take a shower."

"You don't want to eat with our King? I am hurt your Highness" Victor replied.

"Since you put it that way, a queen can't let her knights eat without her. Very well. I shall partake in breakfast. Then I have to get ready for work."

"Here is a plate for you" Luke smiled and set a plate in front of me and North set a bowl of fruit salad down as well.

"Luke, I will not eat all of this."

"That is alright. All you don't eat, Si will eat for you."

I look up at Silas and he just smiles and winks at me.

As I eat, I watch them fix their plates and tease each other. "So what are you guys going to do today?

"Silas and I are going to help his father this morning after breakfast." murmured North between bites.

"I have some running around I need to do today, and Nathan is coming with me to help." Victor said.
