Chapter 93- Accountability

I am nervous and anxious. I am not sure if they want to see me or not and I want Luke to have a perfect day, not upset him with my presence. I know Owen said they will be glad to see me, but I am still a little nervous. Sucking it up, I tell him I am ready as I will ever be when I see the front door open and Sean walks out onto the porch. 

Taking a quick breath, I reach for my purse as Owen opens my door. I look up at him and smile. It's like we were on out on a date and I got to see a side of him very people do. As he takes my hand and helps me out the car, I tell him thanks for a lovely date. We will have to do it again soon. He tells me that can be arranged and my stomach flips.

Man I should have just kissed him when I had the chance. I did not realize I said that out loud until Owen says that can also be arranged as Sean approaches us. "There's my woman." he states as he gives me a hug. I am shocked for a second, but I quickly wrap my arms around his waist and hug him back. "How are you feeling beautiful?" he questioned as he steps back.

"I don't know. The pain meds I had are gone, but I think I did an ok job though. I don't trust just any old doctor looking at me or my bandages. Do you know of a good doctor who would look at it? I used to have a Dr. named Dr. Flirt, but I don't know if he will see me again."

"Dr. Flirt will always want to see you Beautiful." he winks at me.

"Looks like everyone can't wait to see you. Let's go inside before they come running down and trample my yard." states Owen.

Owen took one hand and Sean the other as we walk up the driveway. I can see North in the doorway looking at me from head to toe and I see Gabe trying to peer around him. "Hi North" I tentatively greet him.

"Baby Girl" he says as he gives me a hug. He runs his hands over my back and I hug him right back.

"Oy! Quit hogging my Sunshine." He steps back and Gabe's pushes him over and stops mid step in front of me. He looks me up and down "Shit, you're rocking my Phoenix and it looks damn good on you too," he says.

"Thanks Gabe. I just loved it and had to have on a shirt."

"Gentlemen, let's all go inside. It's quite cold out here." "Oh, my bad Owen." Gabe steps back and I enter the house flanked by Sean and Owen. I am greeted by the rest of the guys as we step into the Living room and everyone gave me hugs. God, I forgot how good they smelled. I could literally eat them up I think as I sit on the ottoman in the centre of the room.

"How have you been." Luke asked quietly.

"Well. How have you all been?"

"We are doing well. What brings you by?" asked Kota

"I was not sure if y'all would want to see me, but I need to apologize to all of you. I am so sorry for being selfish. I was reliving my nightmares all again and nobody would talk to me. I felt alone and thought you all were pulling away from me. My heart hurt and I just could not take it anymore. I forgot you guys have your own hurt and grief to get over."

"When you guys pulled away from me, it made me feel like you didn't want me. When I tried to reach out to find out about Sang or talk to any of you and was unsuccessful, I threw a tantrum and walked out. That was not how I should have reacted. I hope you all can forgive me."

"I think the problem is we were so busy caught up in our own grief and new feelings, we just didn't know what to do so we pulled back to get themselves together. It was just poor communications between us all. I advised her we are working through our issues and grief." Owen explained.
