Chapter Thirteen: Mabel's P.O.V. Okay, I'm Gay

"Breaking News!? Really?!" Dipper yells frustratingly at the TV as it interrupts his ghost show.
"Turn it up!" I request.
"Oh, it's the Northwest party," Dipper says."Don't they have a grand party every year or something?"
"Pacifica was telling me about this," I comment."It looks awesome, but she says she dreads its coming every year."
"Ooo!"
"What do you mean 'ooo'?"
"Look, Mabel... I know you like Pacifica... as more than a friend."
I think my heart just jumped out of my chest. My face gets red and hot."What? Pfft, no. That's silly, why would you think that?"
He only gives me "c'mon-we-both-know-you're-lying" look.
"Okay, I'm gay."
There's a silence, and now I kind of regret saying anything. But honestly, I had no choice. Dipper knows now.
"That's great! I'm so happy for you!" My brother pulls me into a hug.
  I gasp and my eyes go wide, and at the moment I feel kind of like an anime character. I hug him back.
There's a familiar knock at the door, but I glance at the clock, and it's not 10:00 at night. What's Pacifica doing here? Isn't it too risky?
  "That's Pacifica's knock," Dipper announces unnecessarily.
I swing open the door."Pacifica! What're you doing here? You're gonna get caught!"
She shakes her head and gestures behind her to the black limo.
"Oh. But what's up?"
"There's something haunting Northwest Manor!"
