Scott and I were in bed, cuddling, as we had just woken up.

Whenever we cuddled, we never talked since we really just wanted to be next to each other. No words were really necessary.

My mind suddenly pondered upon what I had found out recently.

About a month ago, Scott had told me all about the supposed supernatural world. We had been dating for only half a year but it made me wonder why he had to keep it a secret for so long.

"Scott?" I asked, softly.

"Yeah?" I heard Scott's raspy morning voice behind me.

"Why did you have to keep the whole werewolf thing a secret from me for so long?"

It was silent but Scott answered," because I really don't want you to get involved and end up hurt."

"Scott, I'm not a little kid, you can't just go deciding what I can and can't do," I turned around so I was facing him.

"Emma, I've been in this supernatural realm for 2 years now and I've seen so many people I love die. I'm only doing this to protect you," Scott explained," I don't want to lose you."

"I literally grew up around guns and learned martial arts when I was 7. I think I'm good," I tried to convince him.

"Just because you're experienced doesn't mean this will be easy for you."

"Oh, so you're trying to say I'm too weak to help?"

"No I-"

"Scott, what else would that mean?" I questioned, offended.

"You're one of the strongest people I know, babe. I wouldn't ever call you weak."

I stayed quiet.

"Cmon, Em. I don't want to fight. Can we just continue the day peacefully please?"

I eyed him before eventually giving in and wrapping myself around him.

Knowing how stubborn I was, Scott always did his best to prevent me from doing stupid things.

"No matter what, I love you, alright?" I heard Scott, snuggled into his chest.

"I love you. So so much," my arms held on tighter.

"If they're going to the high school to get Hayden, then we can just set up the transmitter thingy mcbobbers there and stay there until they come," Malia suggested.

Parrish held up the transmitters that he had worked on, examining them.

"That could work," Scott agreed, followed with the rest of the pack agreeing as well.

"Alright, let's get going. It's getting dark," Lydia commanded, everyone getting up and grabbing their gear.

"I really hope it works," I crossed my fingers.
