I'm so sorry guys ): I know I said I'd start my schedule of posting on Tuesday and Friday's (sometimes Saturday's) but I've been very stressed due to projects, tests, auditions, and simply PE. Yeah, PE. I know, how unfit and physically unhealthy I must be.

dont push my buttons, woman. I HAVE TO RUN A GOSH DARN MILE TOMORROW / TODAY SINCE IM WRITING THIS A DAY BEFORE POSTING MY GOODNESS AFTER HAVING RUN 2 IN THIS PAST WEEK ALREADY UGH

ANYWAY, enough talking, I hate author's notes as much as I post them. Much hypocritalness. (Idk if that's a word but oh well)

---------

It was a freezing cold night.

I had just finished my homework when I got a call from my dad.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Y/N, y-your mom was just in an accident. Come to the hospital right now."

The amount of shock and worry in his voice shocked me in addition to the news.

I felt like I couldn't move but my conscience forced me up and downstairs where I grabbed my keys as well as all of my other belongings.

I ran as fast as I could to the car, quickly getting in and starting it, zooming backwards and towards the hospital as fast as I could.

Lots of situations similar to the one I had been just exposed to happened often in my family.

So, you could kind of say that we were sort of problematic.

Problematic, where none of us really do anything wrong yet the most indescribably horrible obstacles come in the way in our lives.

We were one of the most good-natured and virtuous families in the neighborhood, but that was all we were really fortunate of.

We know that we only really have each other, no matter what happens.

The roads were wet and slippery making it difficult to drive, especially under immense anxiety.

My body couldn't help but shake, nervously at the thought of my mom being severely hurt. At the thought of having to eventually see her in pain.

Thoughts ran around in my head until I finally reached the hospital.

I parked briefly before heading inside.

I approached the nurse behind the counter.

She looked up at me, instantly sending me a warm smile," hey, sweetie. Need any help?"

"Uhm... yeah. Could you help me find the emergency room waiting area?" I rushed my words.

"Right down that hall and to your left."

The curly haired woman pointed towards the direction that the room was supposedly in.

"Thank you," I thanked her before hurrying in the direction she gestured towards.
