Jackson imagine for stydiaokay <3

---------

Jackson and I had been dating for a little over half a year. The moments I had with him almost felt fictional, every gesture he gave made me feel like a princess.

Okay, maybe it actually wasn't that amazing of a relationship compared to many others that existed but sometimes, when you live in a supernatural creature infested town, you begin to notice the smallest things.

Jackson Whittemore was known as the popular bad boy at school and when he had asked me out, everybody was saying that I had gotten myself into a mess, that he wouldn't treat me right, that it wouldn't last. But they were wrong.

At least not completely, up until the day I heard a rushed knock at my front door.

I looked through the peak hole to see Martin, one of Jackson's best friends.

Slightly confused to why he was there, I cautiously unlocked then opened the door," hey, Martin. What's up?"

"Can I come in?" He asked, his words a bit rushed.

His face was full of all types of emotions but I couldn't seek each individual one out.

"Um, yeah. Sure." I stepped aside, giving room to let him enter.

Martin walked in and I closed the door behind him.

"Sit down, sit down. You look like you're about to faint," I forced him down onto the couch, sitting beside him," spill."

Martin had been one of Jackson's nicer friends that had been with him for as long as both could remember. He kept Jackson sane for all those years. Him and I became close when we met after I started dating Jackson.

"I don't know how to say this," he scratched the back of his neck.

"You know you can tell me anything," I tried to relax him.

"I know but this involves you and it hurts me to imagine how much this will affect you. But it's something you need to know. Just... promise me you understand that I don't want to hurt you in anyway. I'm just trying to save you from something you might want to step away from. You know that I love you and want the best for you," Martin rambled, his eyes showing such seriousness.

"Martin, what's going on?" I asked, completely worried for my friend at that point.

"Zara, you know about how Jackson used to be. Before you, he was all over the place. He was failing classes, skipping school, and partying on the weekends. He wasn't in a good place which sort of implies that he wasn't surrounded with great people."

I didn't know where he was going with his words and honestly, just wanted him to get to the point but I let him continue.

"We were at a party. I was watching over him just to make sure he didn't do anything too stupid as usual. Him and his friends were playing truth or dare. Riley, all of a sudden, bet him $500 that he couldn't date you for over six months. I don't know why he chose you. Then, Gary added in that he couldn't get you to sleep with him, betting another $500."

As soon as he said those words, I instantly doubted him.

"You're kidding, right?" I laughed lightly.

He bit his lip, nervously, not saying a word in response.

"Martin, you're so funny sometimes," I smiled, my mind forcing me to deny the thought of Jackson's and I's relationship being a bet," don't tell me everyone you mentioned is hiding somewhere, waiting to surprise me."
