Chapter 2: We're Going To Vegas!

Adriana hung up with the radio station. She gave them all her info and they told her where she should go to pick up the concert tickets and everything else that came with them. She was still trembling from the shock and her heart was racing. She was going to go to Vegas and see Aubrey Drake Graham in concert. Not only was she going to see him in concert, she was going to get to meet him too! She pinched herself to check to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

After locking her car she made her way into the hospital. She walked through the security and operations center and made her way to where the operators room was. She made sure she greeted everyone was she walked in. She was an operator at Good Samaritan Hospital. She answered all the incoming calls that came into the hospital. She was also responsible for paging doctor's for anything they were needed for like Trauma's and codes. Things like that.

She greeted the operators that were already on the switchboard and they greeted her back. "Someone is extra smiley today" Jack, one of her coworker's said. She looked at him and smiled harder as she placed her purse on her desk. "A little bit" she said. "Well, when Victoria gets in, you're telling us all about what has you so happy." - "Deal! I have to tell Tori anyway" Adriana said.

"I heard my name!" Tori said walking in. Adriana laughed. "People gotta be careful when they talk about you. I swear, anytime your name is mentioned you show up like clock work." Jack and Victoria laughed too. "They know they better not be talking about me. Wait a minute. Let me look at you." She walked up to Adriana and walked around her in a circle as she studied her. She looked over at Jack. "What is she so happy about?" Jack shrugged his shoulders. "No idea. She's supposed to tell us now that you're here." Victoria turned her her attention back to Adriana. "Girl! Spill! Tell your best friend what you're so happy about. I'm mad I don't already know!" - "Tori, relax. I couldn't have told you. It just happened!" A big smile came across her face again.

"Tori, we're going to Vegas! I won tickets to the Drake concert in Vegas!" - "Shut up!" Victoria yelled. "But wait, there's more. I got meet and greet passes to meet him before the show!" - "Oh my God that's fucking awesome! You need this!" She said and hugged me. Victoria wasn't as big a drake fan as Adriana but she did love a lot of his music. Probably due to the fact that Adriana always had her listening to Drake. "Yeah. I'm excited. Only I haven't thought it all the way through yet. You know, the kids and all."

Victoria looked at Jack and gave him an eye roll then turned back to face Adriana. "Girl, please! When is the concert?" - "Next Friday night" - "Okay. So is this weekend his or yours?" - "Mine. He gets them next weekend." - "So what's the problem? He's going to have the kids. If he needs anything he should be able to figure it out. It won't be the end of the world. He has a mom who can help him. You parents are just a phone call away. Worst case scenario, Vegas is less than five hours away driving. Less than an hour if we fly. We can get back here in no time. You're going! You deserve this and you know you do! Tell her Jack." - "She's right, you do." Jack added. Adriana sighed. She knew they were right and she could really use a little getaway. "Okay. You're right. We're going to Vegas. I'm gonna meet Drake!" she said with a big smile on her face.
