Chapter 88: Girl Time Shenanigans

The doorbell sounded and Adriana walked over to get it not knowing who it was. She stood on her tip toes to look through the peep hole and saw Tori standing out there and opened the door. "Hey girl." "

"Hey. I come bearing gifts. Wine and ice cream. A peace offering for being such an ass on the phone yesterday. Girl time?"

Adriana smiled and pulled her best friend inside. "It's fine girl. I kinda deserved it." She closed the door and gave Tori a hug.

"I mean, you did. But I could have heard you out first. I just went off on you. That wasn't fair."

They started walking to the kitchen. "Like I said, it's fine. Aubrey and I are good now though. I went to see him last night."

"Yeah. Chubbs told me. I'm glad you got to talk before he left." She smiled. "So, tell me about him telling you he loves you."

"Ummm. The first time or last night? Last nights was better honestly." Adriana told her.

"Bitch both! Wait....where are my babies?"

"They're already sleeping. Jay and I took them to the carnival today and they tired themselves out. We all stopped to get something to eat afterwards and once they got cleaned up they both fell asleep in my bed watching a movie."

"Awww. I'm glad you and Jay have such a good relationship now. Okay, so back to Drake."

Adriana gave her a quick run down of the first time it was said and how it happened last night. "I can't even stop smiling while telling you about last night. It was honestly magical Tori. But enough about Aubrey and I. Tell me about you and Chubbs?"

"Bitch wait! You just dropped a bomb. Rihanna showed up while you were there again? What the fuck did she want?"

"Honestly, I don't know. I never asked because I didn't care. She was irrelevant to me at that point. She wasn't even there long." Adriana said shrugging her shoulders.

"Wow! I'm going to have to ask Chubbs about that because I know damn well she didn't show up to talk to him for two seconds and then leave."

"That's true. It didn't cross my mind to ask. I really didn't care. I was in the moment."

"I feel that and I'm happy for you girl!" Tori said giving her a hug. "So, about Chubbs and I. I hadn't gotten a chance to tell you yet because I hadn't seen you other than the time at Benny's birthday party. But that night I was too worried about you being mad at me for brining Drake. But anyway, Chubs and I also exchanged I love you's."

"WHAT?! Oh my gosh! When?"

"At Drake's birthday dinner."

Adriana pulled her in for a hug. "That's amazing babe! I'm so happy for you." She pulled away to look at Tori. "Wait, who said it first?"

Tori smiled. "He did. It was so cute girl. I had actually just got done being mean to Drake. It was right after I hung up with you. We joked back and forth about him letting me smack Drake for you and then he said he missed my fiery little ass and I told him I missed him too. Then he kept staring at me with the cutest look on his face and I asked why he was looking at me like that and he just said he loved me. Just like that. Of course I told him I loved him too."

The smile that was on Tori's face warmed Adriana's heart. "Awww that's so cute. I'm so happy for you girl. I really am."

"Thanks girl. I never imagined my self feeling like this over a guy but Chubbs really changed that for me. I have you to thank for meeting him you know? You could have taken anyone else on that Vegas trip but you took me."
