Chapter 26: Forum Shops

Adriana handed Victoria her cell phone at sat back down next to her. Victoria studied her for a second and the whispered "Bitch what the hell happened in there? You were gone for a long time and that look.... girl that look. I know that look and you were gone for a minute."

"Nothing happened Tori!" Adriana whispered back with a smile on her face.

"You lie! You better spill girl!" Victoria said looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

Adriana rolled her eyes. "You're the one who sent me back in there!"

Victoria's jaw dropped open and she leaned in to Adriana's ear. "Bitch did you do the nasty with Drake?"

Adriana looked at her like she was crazy. "WHAT? NO!" That came out a little louder that she meant for it to and all eyes fell on her. She looked around the room suddenly feeling uncomfortable. "Sorry about that" she said giving Tori a look and putting her head down.

"What did I miss? Why is it so quiet in here? We're in Vegas baby! This party is never supposed to stop!" Drake said stepping into the room.

"DAMN RIGHT!" OB yelled from the other side of the room. "You heard him! Let's get this going!"

Just like that all eyes were off her and there was life in the room again. She was so thankful he had walked in when he did. She looked up at him and his eyes were already on her. His sexy signature smirk on his face. She couldn't help but smile at him.

"Sorry girl. But you will give me the details later!" Tori whispered in her ear.

Adriana ignored her. She no longer cared about anything Tori had to say. Her eyes were focused on Drake who was making his way towards her. How was it possible for someone to look so damn good. She could hear her heart start to beat faster the closer he got and she could feel her cheeks flush. "Come talk to me for a minute?" Drake asked her once he was in front of her. He extended his hand to her.

"Okay" she said placing her hand in his and getting up.

Drake led them to the balcony then turned to face her. "You okay?" he asked her.

Adriana nodded her head. "Yeah. I'm okay. Why?"

Drake slipped his hands in his pocket. "You seemed a little uncomfortable when I entered the room. Did someone say something to you?"

Adriana sighed. "No, that was. Well, we'll just say Tori is driving me crazy!" she said and giggled. "But I am so thankful you came to save the day."

Drake laughed. "Anytime. So what did Tori do?"

Adriana bit her lip. "Ummm...." She smiled and looked away from him. "Nothing. She just asked if we..... you know..... while I was in there getting our phones."

Drake smiled and studied her for a second. How was it possible that she maintained such an innocence about her? "You know? What is that?" he asked still smiling.

She turned back around to face him and smiled too. "You know what I mean Aubrey. Don't make me say it." She lightly smacked him on the arm.

Drake laughed. "I don't know. I need you to say it."

Adriana shook her head. "I'm not going to say it."

Drake closed the gap between them and looked into her eyes. "Say it."

Adriana suddenly found it hard to breath. He was so close to her and she needed him to back away. "She asked if we had sex while I was in there. Happy now?" Her cheeks burned. She knew they had to be bright red.

Drake grinned and took at step back. "I am. Are you ready to explore Vegas with me?"

Adriana shook her head at him again and laughed. "You just had to hear me say it didn't you? I suppose I'm ready."
