Between the last minute planning for their wedding and all the gossip rags dragging out anything they could say about them, Adriana and Drake had a very chaotic week. They were both more than ready to say their "I Do's" and get away for a few days. The media had themselves a field day with the news of their engagement and the pictures of the two of them with Klay. The Shade Room got whispers that Drake and Klay were sharing Adriana and ran with it. Drake had been fuming and he'd wanted someone's job. Adriana had tried to calm him down but ultimately it was Klay's comment under their post that got him to relax. Bless Klay's heart, he didn't let it stand for long. He commented under their post deading that rumor with the quickness. Neither Drake nor Adriana would ever forget what he'd said.
"This is simply not true. If you knew anything about Adriana, you would know she's not the type of woman that would sleep around or be shared. We were getting to know each other and things didn't work out. Her heart belonged to someone else and I understood that. She's an amazing woman and I am grateful to still be able to call her a friend. I truly wish her and Drake nothing but the best together because if you've ever gotten the chance to see them together up close, you know it's real. That once in a lifetime type of love. You can't fake that shit."
Drake would forever be thankful to him for that because he didn't have to say anything to clear Adriana's name but he had. That further proved what a stand up guy he was.
Alas, their wedding day was here. Drake stood in front of a mirror fixing his tie when Sandi walked in.
"Oh, look at you! You look so handsome." Sandi told him with tears threatening to escape her eyes."Thanks Mom." Drake told her with a smile on his face. "Please Don't cry though. At least not yet." He said pulling her in for a hug.
Sandi returned his embrace and then pulled away to look back at him. "I wasn't sure I would live to see this day. My baby is getting married to a beautiful and deserving woman. I'm just so happy Aubrey. I couldn't have picked a better person for you. She really does make you a better man."
Drake smiled. "No argument there. I never knew I could be this happy."
"Well you deserve it son." Dennis Graham said walking in the room.
"He certainly does" Sandi agreed.
"Thank you both." He looked at his watch and smiled. "It's almost time."
"Let me go make sure everyone is ready to go." Sandi said.
"I'll come with you. Let's give him a moment alone." Dennis said.
"Thank you." Drake said as they exited the room. His phone chimed letting him know he had a new message. He was going to ignore it but something told him to check it. He smiled when he saw the message was from Adriana.
Adriana Hernandez:
In case you're getting cold feet, here's a little something to settle that. You can't see my dress but I think you'll like this better anyway. 😏 I love you with all my heart and I can't wait to call you my husband Mr. Graham. 🥰Drake smiled like a fool and looked at the picture that was attached to the message. It was a black and white image of her standing in front of a window in heels and a lace bra and panty set. She was looking down at a bouquet of roses in her hands, with her veil over her head. She looked absolutely stunning and Drake couldn't think of a more breath taking image at the moment. He stared at the image longer than he meant to before typing in a response then silencing his phone and sliding it into his pocket with the biggest smile on his face.

Adriana sat looking at her reflection in the mirror. "I can't believe today is really happening. I could cry."
