Chapter 57: Good Enough

Drinks started flowing and it didn't take long for Adriana to losen up and feel good. She wanted her mind of the situation wth Jeremiah and that's exactly what she was getting. Music was playing and games were going at the multiple game tables in the room. There were laughs and some dancing. She was really enjoying herself and she was so happy to have her best friend by her side. Drake was currently engaged in a ping pong match with Jas and Adriana was sitting in between OB and Tori, laughing at the foolish things that came out of OB's mouth.

"Let's take a picture wifey!" He told her.

Adriana laughed at him. "Are you going to call me that all night?"

"Maybe." He grinned at her. "Is that a no to the picture?"

"We can take one. But you can't post it to social media."

"I'm good with that." He pulled her close to him and wrapped his arm around her shoulder so Tori and Chubbs wouldn't be in it the picture. They both smiled into the camera and he snapped the picture then turned the camera to show her. "See, we look good together." He told her and she laughed and shook her head.

"Send that to me."

"I don't have your number." OB said handing her his phone with the picture up.

She took it from him and sent the picture to herself. "There." She said and handed him his phone back.

Drake was distracted by the little scene before him and missed the ball. Jas threw his hands up and yelled "YES!" since that was game point and it meant he had won. He would have rubbed it in his face except he knew Drake had been distracted from the game since OB went and sat by Adriana.

"Good game." He said dapping Jas up and making his way to OB and Adriana. "I think there's a little too much fun being had over here" he said standing in front of Adriana and placing himself in between her legs. He looked over at OB. "I thought I told you to go find your wifey somewhere else?"

"I was just keeping her safe for you." OB told him with a grin. He knew he was getting under Drakes skin but he didn't care. He was pushing his buttons to see how long it took him to admit he had feelings for her.

Drake sucked his teeth in. "I heard you over here calling her wifey and I saw you over here taking pictures."

OB laughed and shook his head. "I told him he can't post it." Adriana told him.

"He better not post it." Drake said pulling her in for a hug. "You made me lose and I never lose."

"Me? How so?" She asked him with an raised eyebrow.

He tucked a curly strand of her hair that was hanging in her face behind her ear and smiled. "You were distracting me." He told her.

Adriana smiled at him. "Well that sounds like a personal problem."

He laughed and shook his head. "Is that so?" She nodded her head yes and then gave him a hug.

Anaconda by Nicki Minaj stared playing through the speakers. "OH SHIT! THIS IS YOUR SONG RIGHT HERE!" he said tapping Drake on the shoulder.

"Why is this my song?" Drake asked him.

Now it was OB's turn to suck his teeth in. "Why you playing Aubs? Nicki gave you a lap dance in this video. That's almost every mans dream and you got that. She was working it too!"

Drake knew he wasn't wrong but he as irritated by the fact that he would bring that up with Adriana sitting right there in front of him. Adriana and Tori laughed at the same time. Drake turned his attention away from OB to look at them. They were obviously sharing a joke. "What's so funny?"
